"The FDIC Will Never Go Broke" ...

Perhaps Not, But the Nation Will.

Even toilet paper will be worth more a sheet then the US dollar if this adminitration continues on it's reckless spending course.

The FDIC has served its purpose. I don't understand what it's even there for now that Uncle Benny Printing Press has put his machines on overdrive.

Honestly what's the point? Sheila's job should be "consolidated."

I think, at this point, it wouldn't be surprising to see Countrywide's offices burned down.

Awsome Bob Dylan song.

As always not easy to understand, had to listen to it 3 times to get it all.

FDIC belongs to the government. The government owns the printing press. So the FDIC can get as many new, crisp $100 or $1000 or $1,000,000 bills as it needs. So in a sense it can't go broke.

I have a relative working full time -so called-at McDonalds but actually losing quite a few hours a week being sent home early. This is in a small town which hasn't been doing too badly, all things considered, and McD's has had plenty of business.

what else is she going to say?

The FDIC will never go broke because it makes money out of thin air. MOST OF THE MONEY IN THE WORLD DOESN'T REALLY EXIST! It exists only as electronic 1's and 0's in the motherboard of some massive computer.

Anyone here thinking what I am re: the US airlines crash in NY?
Although it was the best news we’ve had in while; all the passengers aboard got saved
I am truly grateful for that.

It was an Airbus!

European governments had to also make aeroplanes.
Ha ha ha

To be just like America
Ba wah ha ha

They even have their own worthless fiat currency

Just like America

In the end US airlines made the mistake of purchasing an overpriced crappy Eurotard product.

Anyone still buying McMansions and BMWs?

Eurotards are making Chinese products look real good.

This is just knee slapping funny.

Actually she's correct. The fdic secured a limitless line of credit with the treasury back in September. Your dollar might be worth significantly less but they'll give em to ya.

Just when you think it can't possibly get any weirder:

Madoff's fund may not have made a single trade

Good news! This administration will stop its reckless spending in just about 5 days. It's the new and improved administration with far more reckless spending that you have to worry about.

In court, Countrywide says its ads are ‘puffery’

Defending lawsuit, mortgage company mocks loan modification assurances

"...“Countrywide is saying, ‘We don’t have any obligation or even necessarily the intention of actually modifying these loans,’ and yet they’re representing that they do.”..."

Kinda like our political employees maintaining that they represent our interests.

HUR HUR HUR.

Hopefully in retaliation for the "Man's" incarceration of so many black people, Obama will be persuaded to drop the hammer on the likes of Mozillo.

What a country we have huh? If you are an elite, even if you confess you get to live better that 99% of the public, AKA Madoff in his penthouse.

The one good thing that needs to come out of this is protests outside of the elite's homes, really angry protests! We need to let them know we want ALL the money back and we won't take thier sh@t anymore.
