The Worst President Ever gave his final press conference. And yet nobody had the courage to throw a shoe?

We elected (kind of, some of us) one of the shallowest, dumbest, most stubborn, least introspective and most incompetent people in the country to be president for eight long and disastrous years.

The full damage of the Bush years will not be known for years. The obvious damage is now there for all to see, but oh, just wait, we'll be suffering the repercussions of this one for decades. And perhaps for the rest of recorded human history.

Nice job America.

After all, it's not his fault.

It's yours.

No matter how bad he was, I struggle with the thought of taking lightly the fact that someone in essence assaulted the President.

It may make us feel good on some level, but in whole it is not a good thing.

Remember the first time Barack Obama went on TV and said he was going to cut taxes for 95% of all Americans and we all kind of snickered – even Democrats? I thought to myself, ‘boy, he’s done now — nobody’s that stupid.’ Then 52% Americans went out and proved how much I know, right?

Actually, it's a very good thing. It reminds those in power that they are not above reproach and it happened for a very good reason. When the people do not feel represented by their representatives in government - and that's all they are - then the only recourse they have is protest and civil disobedience. The Founding Fathers and American Revolutionaries knew all this.

The President is not a king even though the media would like you to believe that. It's very sad that the American people today have so lost touch with their heritage and now embrace the President as some kind of king.

If you put the politics aside, and just look at the damage Bush, Cheney, and Rove have done it is mind blowing. None of us could have imagined one administration could do so much massive damage to America in 8 short years. That his approval rating hovers around 30% is frightening. The fact that 30% can be so blinded by politics that they support a disaster, their country be damned, is pathetic.

Let’s take for example the queens of Arabia, or leaders in South America, or Russia or China, or the bald headed uber snot nosed European heads of state.

Bush may not have been prefect, but he’s no worse then any other leader in our times.

Sad but true.

yes keith, but it was you who said you were for obama, the man of change. so tell me, has change come to this land? i submit to you, that it has not. why is that? why is it we never get anyone in the presidency who really care about us? why? i submit the banking elite who in actuality run this country, get whoever they want in there and that it matters not who we vote for. wasn't it rothschild who said one time long ago, that he cared not who was king, as long as he controlled the purse strings. now fast forward to now from the late 1700's and we see the FED is here, a bank run by foreign entities who tell us how to run our monetary system and makes us use federal reserve note paper for our money when it explicitly is shown to us in the constitution that we are to use gold and silver coin. we need a revolution in this country and when it does happen, and it will happen, it will be long and bloody, due to the fact that there are many races here now, who will all pull in separate ways, and this too was planned. so then the races here will fight each other instead of fighting those who are at the root of all of this. fools we shall be for a time until the smoke clears but there are many fools in the way now, who will bend the knee to gods of money and power and do as they are told by their puppet masters. these too shall have to be dealt with. such is life in amerika in 2009 and now we hear of them pushing to control ammunition and weapons and right on cue as the man of change is about to take office. ladies and gentlemen welcome to change......as the band called who sang one time in a song a long time ago......meet the new boss, same as the old boss....
we have met the enemy and he is us.....

For someone to know for certain if it was all a success or failure must be a very very very smart person. Most people have already simply made up their minds on the issue.
Just an example, but in 300 years Bush might be known as the greatest president ever for bringing democracy to the mid east.

In the case of the Iraqi journalist throwing a shoe at Bush I think he had every right to do so. You can care to agree or disagree but if you disagree I think you are simply unaware of what has happened to Iraq. You're probably one of the believers that watch CNN or Fox News and believe that "freedom and democracy" have come to Iraq and that the "war" in Iraq was all about protecting America from the terrorists.

The important lesson to be learned is that nobody is above reproach - even the President. In fact, if America remembered it's heritage which was a revolution based on the belief that men should be judged by their skill, morality and wisdom rather than wealth and connections, the Eastern establishment Bush family would never have gained high positions of power.

time and time and time again, we go back to asking the question. after 7 years of war in far off places, we still ask why we are there? wasn't it bush himself who said that iraq never had wmd's and never was involved in 911? are we to believe that a bunch of bearded men in afghanistan are somehow involved in 911 and were at the heart of a complex terrorist conspiracy, the likes of which this world has ever seen? please spare me. think people. please think about it all. afghanistan and iraq or any of the islamic countries have never done anything to us because the islamic countries do not control my congress and my senate and my presidency. if the islamic people have never done anything to us, yet we have done many terrible things to them, then why in the hell are we fighting them? why are we in their countries killing them and dying for these wars that never end? why is it we call men who want us to leave their countries, terrorist and insurgents? who is the terrorist and who is the insurgent? the men who invade your country for no reason, or the men who fight and die defending it? why have we declared war on islam? islam is not our enemy and never was. islamic peoples were always our friends and wanted to be so but we pushed them away. why did we push them away? if the arabs did not do 911, then who did? who did it? are we to argue about this question for so long, like we have done about the JFK assassination? who killed JFK? who killed him and why? i am a old man now. but soon i shall be called upon to do my duty to God and my country. we have enemies in my land that must be removed. the founding fathers knew them quite well and spoke of them yet we did not listen back then and we certainly are not listening now. i shall go willingly and give what i have for it is worth it all. yes it is worth it all. the pearl of great price, liberty, shall not be bought with any small sum but will require much sacrifice. the time for talking is over now. the die has been set. all of this will play itself out soon enough. i hope that many of you are ready for this. constant discussion about when things will return to what is considered normal are silly and intellectually dishonest. there are those out there that know this will not be the case, yet they fear to say what needs to be said. you pick up bits and pieces here and there. this country is dying ladies and gentlemen, it is dying. it is over. there will never be a time like the times we have lived during the 70's, 80's, 90's and early 2000's. it is over already. this too was by plan. we are being destroyed on purpose and yet no one sees this. no one talks about it. no one wants to know this. they would rather watch their football or their basketball on the boob toob and play the great amerikan game known as pretend or wishful thinking. the great amerikan pastime, of not worrying about where your next meal is coming from and going to your slave job and going out and eating a nice meal somewhere or going to some stupid silly movie, etc etc etc.......all of this is over. we are the beginning stages of a severe decline to third world status. hungry men and women make good american insurgents. i for one welcome this all. i welcome it. for i know with the civil unrest, there will come a chance to change the possible outcomes of this planned destruction. liberty can be achieved in this brief moment but it must be done fast and help must come from the inside as well as the outside. many american government employees are angry at what is happening and wait. their voices are silent now. but in that time of no law, we on the outside can only hope that they will come out from hiding and expose those who have done this evil to us and help the american insurgency for it is our only hope. my God in His infinite mercy, help out the coming american insurgency.

And what is that scary ideology? Can you define it for me?

Our society is full of EXTREMISTS and surprisingly the majority are not "islamo-fascist-jihadist-terrorist-nazi". You appear to have some pretty EXTREME views yourself.

In our modern society we deal with extremists in a lawful and reasonable manner. Murderers are put on trial, imprisoned or put to death for example.

The problem is that people like you advocate the bombing and invasion of civilian populations to go after a MINORITY of extremists with a "scary ideology". An ideology that you can not even define and extremists that you can not even identify.

Why don't we take your idea of fighting scary ideological extremists to your neighborhood? If we find out your neighborhood contains a murderer we should just carpet bomb your street and to hell with the collateral damage that would be you and your family.

Nobody is suggesting that we shouldn't go after terrorists but that is not what is happening in Iraq and Afghanistan.

What is happening in Iraq and Afghanistan is pre-emptive war (invasion) with the goal of securing the Middle East for it's resources and geo-political strategic value. That's what it's always been about and you can read about the plans in the Neoconservative's own words here:

Project for the New American Century

And it's a bipartisan issue. The globalists control both parties and their leading geopolitical strategist in the Democrat party is Zbigniew Brzezinski (Obama's foreign policy advisor):

I supported, and still support, the War on Terror and Bush has done a good job with it. Yes, mistakes have been made but what president wouldn't have made mistakes in this type of asymmetrical warefare.

Having said that, I watched part of his final news conference yesterday and I have to say that he really is a poor public speaker...bordering on "idiot" and "moronic".

What a presidency! Started with 9/11 and ended with the global financial collapse. Gee whiz! There will be plenty written about these eight years many years from now. Too bad for Obama though: he is going to get blamed for the Great Depression II since it's going to happen on his watch.

First off, there's ample evidence to show that 9/11 was a false flag event. Go do some research and start with the dancing Israelis on 9/11.

WTC7 - Does this look like a collapse due to fire or controlled demo?

Even if we are to believe the official version of 9/11 how does invading and occupying Iraq and Afghanistan relate to going after Osama Bin Laden?

Iraq - nothing to do with Bin Laden.

Afghanistan - we are bombing the civilian population over there and never found Bin Laden. He's supposedly in Pakistan now right?

So with over 1 million Iraqis killed, over 4000 US soldiers killed and an estimated 3 trillion or more spent on these wars and we still haven't caught those responsible for 9/11.

Are we to just occupy every Islamic nation and kill as many potential Islamic terrorists as we can? Is that the war on "terror"?

Do we need to catch all of the Islamic terrorists or potential terrorists?

The War on Terror does not make a lick of sense and fake conservative Rush Limbaugh listeners like you just parrot the same old illogical arguments and overblown fears of scary ideological terrorists out to get you.

You need to lay off the Jack Bauer buddy.

vs.

Same old elite pulling the strings and stripping us of our freedom more and more all the time. All the while, we have silly little arguments on internet chat boards and pretend to be oh so smart and enlightened. Throwing harsh words back and forth, acting all tuff and standing on our soapboxes.

And this time the "please define for me what a war on terror" side won. But its really just more of the same. Obama is 4 more years down the tubes. He will be thought of as the worst president ever when its all said and done.

"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs."

This country is fucking doomed! And by the way, THE EXTREME JIHADIST'S ARE A REAL THREAT AND SHOULD BE ERADICATED FROM THIS PLANET BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY!

But hell, rapists, murderers, child molesters, drug dealers, pimps, child pornographers, etc., etc. walk on technicalities all the time. So why should the bat shit crazy suicide bombers who don't care if they kill women and children be any different?

And now we are seeing news stories about how the cash strapped states are going to have to start releasing more prisoners. Its on the verge of getting really ugly. But go ahead and continue with your important discussion over whether or not the terrorists are a threat. And see if you can define them or figure them out.

I still don't see how this is going to make things better. If he was going to do something specific to promote capital investment for manufacturing so we could reduce our trade deficit and not take on more debt, that would be change we could believe in. But he's not talking about anything like that. Its more government jobs but where is the tax revenue gonna come from if most of our economy is government. With Fannie , Freddie, AIG, Etc., how many government employees are there now?

Exactly. The Israeli's fingerprints are ALL OVER 9/11 and this documentary has plenty of evidence:

Fabled Enemies (Free, High Quality, Full Movie)

This film covers the dancing Israelis, the massive intelligence op that Israel was running in the US prior to 9/11 and much more.

Every American needs to watch this film and the many other great docos on 9/11 to have a better understanding of what really happened that fateful day.

And when you're done with that film you need to watch the following for a wider historical perspective of false flag terrorism:

And just like clockwork the always popular "I am so much smarter than you, I am smug ass enlightened lib and you are ignorant and ruined our discussion" retort. Classic.

And now the conspiracy kooks are coming out as well.

"Who really benefits from 9/11? Think about it."

I work with and consider very good friends, two gentlemen from Iran. Of course the topic of 9/11, Bin Laden, Jihad, Isreal, the Middle East in general has come up quite a bit the past 8 years or so.

Anyway, these friends of mine do not like Bush. They think he has screwed things up. But they agreed that removing Sadam was a VERY GOOD THING and the right thing to do. They agree that eliminating Osama and as much of his merry men as possible would be a good thing. They also say that there is no way we actually accomplish this because of Afghanistan and the terrain there. The caves, caverns, etc plus the locals helping him, they said back in '01-'02 that Osama could hide in there forever and we couldn't find him. Seems they were right.

More importantly, we talk alot of the general perception of America by the Middle East and about Jihad and extremists. Most people in that part of the world do not hate us. They do not necessarily agree with our relationship with Isreal. But in general, they like and appreciate the opportunity afforded to them by this country and just want what most of us want, whats best for thier families.

But the extremists truly do hate us. They hate the fact that we have porn on the internet, have legalized gambling and prostitution, allow women the right to vote and equality with men, tolerate homosexuality and on and on and on. Our freedoms and the fact we are so liberal are the very reason for thier hatred of us and the 9/11 attacks. They truly are religious fanatics and believe we are the devil.

Now the connection of oil and the Royal families in that part of the world treating thier people like crap, making them drill oil while living in squalor and keeping all the oil money for themselves, not taking care of the country, etc is ABSOLUTELY, 100% CREATING A FERTILE BREEDING GROUND FOR NEW ENLISTEES TO THE JIHAD. There is no doubt our foreign relations has failed miserably in this regard. So long as a large percentage of the people are destitute and see no hope or future, Jihadists and those like them will continue to grow.

Maybe if a large enough number of people here in the USA become destitute we will have a revolution and finally elect a real goverment, by the people, for the people? Just like good old TJ wanted it. I digress, back on topic.

To say 9/11 was a conspiracy is a stretch at best. But what do I know? I didn't read this on the internet, I didn't watch an underground documentary or anything like that. I just talked to people, face to face. I'm sure the internet documentary and research is much more valid.

Anonymous said...

They are documentaries that use mainstream sources, d*ckhead.

Instead of filling the blog with your inane opinions why don't you just go watch the damn films and then respond. I would really like to see how people like you explain the Israeli intelligence presence and arrests on the day of 9/11 and hear an explanation of how WTC7 collapsed the way it did due to office fires (plus the long list of other anomalies and contradictions to the official story of 9/11).

Of course, you can just remain ignorant and listen to Rush Limbaugh.

do you know how much depleted uranium munitions we have dropped on that country? it will be a nuclear wasteland for 4.5 billion years and as time goes by, birth defects and cancers will increase in the middle east and other places where this horrible weapon has been used. our soldiers while they are there ingest this stuff because when it is fired in shells, etc, it becomes uranium oxide and when it hits a target it turns to fine powder, so fine, that no known filter mask will stop it. it gets in the dust of iraq and is spread world wide. what we have done is unfathomable. now the israelis are using du munitions against the palestine. it cannot be cleaned up by any known methods. it is permanent and the damage is permanent. we have used it in iraq, afghanistan and serbia. we are guilty of war crimes of untold magnitude. bush is traitorous scum and should be sentenced to death for his crimes along with many in our government, if not for the good of american, for the good of humanity......we have cast our bread on the waters. we will not like it when it returns and yes it is already returning even now, carried by the winds that circumvent this world....fools , all of them.......fools.........

I supported, and still support, the War on Terror and Bush has done a good job with it.

What a presidency! Started with 9/11 and ended with the global financial collapse. Gee whiz!

You think he's done a good job preventing terrorism? What about 9/11? That happened during his presidency! He had warning of it but ignored/didn't see the memo because he was on one of his many vacations.

Ah, your later paragraph makes it clear: you somehow think 9/11 happened on the first day of his presidency. Nope, it happened eight months in. Now, I realize the conservative media has managed to lower the bar for Bush so much that those are considered his "training days", but posters here are supposed to be smarter enough to see past that. Think about it this way, if Gore had been president and 9/11 had still happened (which it wouldn't have), what would the reaction have been? The Republicans would have impeached him and thrown him out of office.

Also, that "global financial collapse", Bush and his administration helped cause that and threatened anyone who tried to prevent it. It's not some unforeseeable misfortune that befell poor pure Bushie.
