What kind of music will be popular in a post-crash world 2009 - 2015?

Stupid robot-sounding vapid pop will be toast.

Bi*ches and Ho's corporate rap will disgust you.

Ad-and-MSM-supported country and "rock" will be laughed at.

Geriatric reunions with $200 concert tickets will be empty.

My predictions?

* Indy rage anti-establishment anti-corporation metal
* Prison Blues and Depression Soul
* Down-on-Your-Luck Country

Hey, guys,

We haven’t seen or heard much about the war in Iraq since Obamy took office.

Have our troops left?

Has the cost gone down?

Hmmmm

A *very* stripped down version of Johnny Cash, where it's only him and the guitar - barebones.

Interesting that nobody is addressing the one thing that can be done to resolve our monetary problems:

Destruction of the Federal Reserve, World Bank and International Monetary Fund.

When we all finally come to realize what has been done:

Everybody Knows

Everybody knows that the dice are loaded
Everybody rolls with their fingers crossed
Everybody knows that the war is over
Everybody knows the good guys lost
Everybody knows the fight was fixed
The poor stay poor, the rich get rich
Thats how it goes
Everybody knows...

DISCOOOOOOOO! What was big when things sucked in the 1970s? Brainless music to make you feel good! Time for the Donna Summer $200-per-ticket reunion review tour! "I'd love to love you, baby." (Is she still alive? I can't be bothered to Google.)

Well, this is a work in progress, so its kinda rough recording, lo-fi sorta. But, I wrote this a couple years ago, when it was all too clear things would crash out here.

Your readers are lame dude.

We'll see an entirely new genre of music emerge -- just like we do everytime there's a national crisis. In fact, art in general will get much better. I'm looking forward to that silver lining.

Real slow, suicidal music.

Obama appoints another Bilderberger to his cabinet:

Bilderberger for Health Secretary

For those that don't know, Geithner and Haas are also Bilderbergers and Haas was also chairman of the Council on Foreign Relations.

So Obama is no change. Let's just settle that once and for all.

The same music we had to listen to at my boarding school. We didn't get a choice.

You'll see.

For real estate this summer I'm going for the Bananarama (and Ace of Base remake) "Cruel Summer"

I'm expecting some anger-neo-gothic-thrash-metal-country fusion due to all the foreclosures in Florida and the south. I'm thinking maybe some like Lynrd Skynrd "Freebird" meets Germany's "Rammstein".

Yeah, that'll do the trick

"...I spent so much time
Believing all the lies
To keep the dream alive
Now it makes me sad
It makes me mad at truth
For loving what was you..."

...When you hear the music you make a dip
Into someone else's pocket then make a slip... ;^D

Maybe grunge? it's surprising how well Nirvana has held up over the years.

Punk rock -Pistols style. Perhaps the DK's or Dickies.

It was a scream of utter frustration with the status quo before punk became a fashion trend.

It's also great music to publicly flog politicians by.

Anarchy in the US.

Mainstream- Feel-good (i.e., escapist, reminiscent) pop.

Alternative- Uber grunge. No time for emo, Doctor Jones...

Pfft, rap is so dead.

I predict music like Megadeth and Five Finger Death Punch.
