HERE'S THE RAGE I WANT! "Wake up America - while you were playing with the toys of your consumer wealth, you lost your representative democracy!"

If one good thing comes out of the Iraq Debacle and Housing Scam, it will be RAGE.

RAGE demanding change. RAGE to tackle immigration, taxes, entitlements, global warming, education, health care and infrastructure.

RAGE to investigate and remove Dodd and Frank and Pelosi and Reid.

RAGE to see Mozilo and Fuld and Cox and Gonzales and Bush and Cheney imprisoned.

The time for RAGE is here. Because fat and lazy and could-care-less has led America to the brink of ruin.

And no, I don't expect anyone to do a f*cking thing. Idol is on, and McDonald's is still open.

This guy states that illegal aliens receive Social Security and welfare benefits. I have news for you and the rest of the people who believe in this nonsense. ONLY citizens and legal aliens get social security and SSI benefits. If you don't believe me, then you can contact your local Social Security office and ask to speak to a Contact Representative and ask them if illegal aliens get Social Security benefits?

America, just blame illegal aliens for your troubles. Don't blame anyone but yourself. Besides, if illegal aliens are so bad, why do so many Americans employ them? For example, in a certain part of my city, there are many Mexican and Polish illegals who reside there. Recently, when a co-workers' timing belt and water pump needed to be replaced, he went to an illegal who replaced it for $300 with parts and labor, while "American owned" shops wanted $600 to $950! When his roof needed repairs, he hired a bunch of Polish illegals.

So America, when it comes to illegal immigration, YOU CAN NOT HAVE IT BOTH WAYS!

I can't think of many Americans who aren't themselves on the gravy train.

Taxes are modest compared to what people receive from government spending and employment, and even now taxes are going down.

My thesis is: since the American people really don't foot the bill, they could care less how much money is spent on them.

Lets try on another angle:
“The virtue of 1776/1789 had been accumulated over millennia of darkness and suffering CREATED by Europeans. We have frittered away that virtue BY ACCEPTING THE SWEET TASTING CHOCOLATE COVERED EVIL THAT BROUGHT UPON A TWO THOUSAND YEAR Dark Age. Perhaps in the future some new TECHNOLOGY WILL BE INVENTED AND THE SELFISH EUROTRASH WILL AGAIN USE IT TO GARNER POWER, A FEW COURAGEOUS "Americas" will be formed from colonies in space only to become CHALLANGED BY THE corrupted as the cycle repeats...

There will be some nice riots in London this week, and in Europe, but don't expect much in the States. . .people here are pretty clueless. . .we are having an additional 1% sales tax added here in CA on April 1, and when I talk with people at stores and around town about it, not one person in 10 knew about it. The State of CA is in even worse shape than 30 days ago when the new budget was passed, and will have to do a revised budget again in May. . .no one here seems to connect the dots - "bad economy" is about all they know. If they can't even follow the money here in CA, don't expect much rage during "G20". . .say, isn't that a new Hip Hop Group?????

Awesome tape Keith . Look how congress/Senate ignored all the calls from the People when the
Hank Paulson Plan was on the floor .

I looked back in the record and I found out in 1999 Senator Shelby from Alabama was one of the 8 Senators who voted against the
de-regulation and dumping of the
long held Glass-Segall act. Only the Senators that voted against that act ,and the recent Bills, deserves to remain in power.

The resaon why Paulson cried emergwency is they had to try to pull off the coo before anybody knew what hit them . I'm so tried of the constant promise of the next Trillion being the trillion that is going to remove the toxic assets . Make no mistake ,Hank Paulson was protecting himself from lawsuit regarding his stay at Goldmans by bailing out Goldmans
in the AIG Bailout . Bailing out unregulated Banks is a joke .

The evil self serving Players only care about themselves, while they destroy the very Country that gave them the platform to even make a dime in life . They that bite the hand that feeds them are stupid greedy Raiders of the National Treasures .

They have already taken the money and you won't get it back . You can prevent them from taking more . We the Poeple can go back and bring them to Justice even if they think that the bail-outs hid their Crimes and Obstructed the
Justice they were due .

God help us all .

But we like having our cake from the gubmint. I have voted for a free lunch ever since that bastard Carter tried to tell me that I should not have my cake.
Since 9/11 the free lunches have grown exponentially, and we keep voting for it. Stimulus checks, tax cuts, massive deficit spending, amazingly low interest rates. THIS IS WHAT WE WANT.
The RAGE is about the gubernmint trying to tell me I can't have a McMansion and a home theatre. I deserve these fruits of my consumption and I'll be damned if I vote for representatives who are not going to give it to me.

I agree, in the US people have completely lost their thirst for liberty. It could come back though, there just needs to be enough bread and butter issues to get people pissed off.

Most of the proles won't do anything if it doesn't affect them though. They could see their next door neighbour being strip searched and beaten by cops on the front sidewalk and wouldn't do anything, but you take away jobs and food and they might do something. The main cause of unrest is unemployment and hunger.

Rage will turn much more physical in this country.

As more and more people lose their jobs and financial security - especially in the higher income brackets - things will start get much, much more uglier.

Rage is about losing your job, and companies asking the government to raise the number of H1B visa.

http://www.bls.gov/news.release
/laus.nr0.htm

Regional and state unemployment rates were nearly all higher in
February.

Forty-nine states and the District of Columbia recorded
over-the-month unemployment rate increases, while all 50 states and
the District of Columbia had higher rates than a year earlier, the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the U.S. Department of Labor reported
today.

Sky-high unemployment rates were also reported in South Carolina (11%), Oregon (10.8%), North Carolina (10.7%), California and Rhode Island (10.5% each), and Nevada (10.1%).

The largest over-the-month increase in the level of un employment were recorded in California.

Rage can simply come from discovering the truth on how FASB-157 can be manipulated with taxpayers dollar.

http://www.istockanalyst.com
/article/viewarticle/articleid
/3153707

If this NYP story is factual, taxpayers have a right to ask how can their monies be so badly misspent by the banksters?

The New York Post reported on March 25 that while Geithner has orchestrated a scheme to help the banksters “purge themselves of toxic mortgage assets a few months hence (Geithner hopes to have his bankster bailout scheme operarational by May) Citi and BAC “have been aggressively scooping up those same securities in the secondary market” in the two months ahead of Geithner’s rotten-to-the-core plan for taxpayers.

The mark to market value of these toxic assets are priced roughly at 30 cents on the dollar and still falling each day.

However, because of Geithner’s scheme, come May 09, the banksters will be able to sell the dreck they are purchasing to PIM-Rock (Pimco and Blackrock) and other hand-chosen friends of the govt at roughly 85 to 90 cents on the dollar.

Thereby, the banksterss at Citi and BAC stand to more than double their recent investments, funded with taxpayer dollars, in less than two months.

Rage is finding out the HEAD Citi and BoA win, and TAIL taxpayers lose.

What if come May 9, foreclosures continue to raise with continuing job lost, and speculators realize it is not a good time to buy these toxic Option ARM, and Alt-A loans back.

Who will pay for Citi and BoA wrong side beat then.

http://www.nypost.com/seven
/03252009/business
/double_dippers_161157.htm

Both Citi and BofA each have received $45 billion in federal rescue cash meant to help prop up the economy and jumpstart the housing market.

But the banks' purchase of so-called AAA-rated mortgage-backed securities, including some that use alt-A and option ARM as collateral, is raising eyebrows among even the most seasoned traders. Alt-A and option ARM loans have widely been seen as the next mortgage type to see increases in defaults.

One Wall Street trader told The Post that what's been most puzzling about the purchases is how aggressive both banks have been in their buying, sometimes paying higher prices than competing bidders are willing to pay.

For those who brought at the height of the housing cycle rage can mean no end to the bottom of the housing market.

http://globaleconomicanalysis.blogspot.com
/2009/03/california-association-
of-realtors-car.html

Median nominal prices in CA are now down 59% according to CAR and 54% according to DQNews - and those declines are in 21-22 months!

Unemployment is going to soar in 2009 along with foreclosures, credit card writeoffs, and bankruptcies. That will add to the inventory problems.

Thus it is extremely unlikely that housing bottoms soon. I am still looking for housing prices to bottom in 2012.

We haven't seen much rage. We saw media-created annoyance last fall, which only served to put a clueless Mugabe-wannabe in the White House. The only way we'll see rage is if President STFU continues to preempt American Idol for his daily State of the Union adddresses.

There's NO rage in Vegas.
Tons of job losses, seems everyday there are more and more. Still, no rage. Not even any talk about it around here.

Increase in income tax rate is a hot topic with small business owners. That was snuck in while we were sleeping.

Lots of panhandlers at intersections and driveway entrances.

I took a spin yesterday and looked at vacancies in the new strip malls. Some are just in the finishing stages. One, in the Red Rock area, has lost many of the tenants that touted grand openings. Poof, gone. There was a guard riding a bike, patrolling....vacancies. Out of approx 30 store fronts, only a handful were occupied. Even my unconscious husband noticed.

Still, no rage. Maybe this summer.

This thing is taking a very long time.

Look, just because there is an old white guy with gray hair doesn't make him smarter or wiser than any one of us.

Our education system brainwashes us into thinking "oh my that Jefferson and Washington, etc.... were such wise men". A lot of it is myth and the so called founding fathers were smugglers who wanted services from the British but didn't want to pay taxes on their smuggled goods from the West Indies. Thus that is why they revolted under "no taxation without representation".

Here's a good op-ed article from the New York Times about the psychology behind why America is not raging. Even if you don't like the Times, give it a look. It gets into the mindset of why people are apathetic, and illustrates many of the comments made here.

As for illegals, if you believe they can get Social Security, just go up to an SS office and say "My name is Juan Valdez. I am a citizen of Mexico. Please give me government money for the rest of my life." See how far you get.

The key to stopping illegal workers is to bust the bosses. What's better, to arrest 100 illegal aliens at a slaughterhouse and leave their boss untouched, so he can hire another 100, or to arrest that one boss for violating labour laws? And if his replacement boss doesn't find verified American workers (and pay them decent American wages) then arrest him too. Do that often enough, with enough publicity, and you'll see the unemployment rate amongst illegals go waaaaay up.

I'm an immigrant here on a working visa. The first year I was here, I renewed my employment contract with the hospital. I thought that was all I needed to do; didn't have to hassle with the immigration office since I was on a 4-year visa programme. What I didn't know was that I had to re-up my Immigration paperwork every year. Big mistake by Bukko!

The same week my 1-year visa anniversary came around, I got a call from Personnel saying "Where's your work approval certificate from the government?" When I told them I didn't have one, they said "Don't come to work until you get that straightened out." Lucky for me, I had already been rostered for 4 days off (and my wife was back in the U.S. for a bit, or she would have fried my hide.) I rushed to Immigration, got a temporary visa until I could work out a longer-term one, and didn't miss a day's pay.

The point is, in Australia, companies try to obey the law. They make sure workers have legal approval. In contrast, America is a country of law-breaking corporations. The CORPORATIONS should be busted to make them stop. But that will never happen, because it gets in the way of money and power. And thus does your country go down the tubes.

Illegals not getting SSI benefits? heck the citizens will ever be so lucky to get theirs.

I propose that people have a choice to opt out of the Social Security program after 10-15 years of paying into it. If they continue they get benefits. If they quit, they get the 12% added back into their paychecks.

Let us all support www.fairtax.org as it is the best way to end the madness. First by replacing 67,000 pages of IRS tax law that if you call up per the IRS to question it 60% of the time you will get the WRONG ANSWER from the IRS...instead of this madness we can have a simple consumption tax that is fair and only 133 pages of law. We all need to support this...GET INVOLVED...the more you study the fair tax the more you will believe. 6,700 homeowners a day could keep their homes if this was passed into law! This is only one reason of hundreds why the fairtax must be passed.

I think the saying "I could care less" has been bastardized and really should be "I could NOT care less". Think about it, if you did not care in the least bit, then there would be no way to care any less. If there is a way I could care less than I do, then that means I care somewhat.
sorry just had to get that out there...
