And then Dick Cheney submitted himself to a no-holds-barred heated interview by Sean Hannity and Fox News

Boy, Hannity really took it to him in this one. Crashing the world financial system. Launching stupid and indefensible wars. Torturing in America's name. Taking the country to ruin.

Oh, sorry, my bad, Hannity just pretty much has sex with Darth Vader Dick Cheney here.

But it is good TV. GOP Porn -it's nasty, it's alternative reality, but you just can't look away.

OMG. Darth Cheney is worried about our image overseas. What a great guy!

I saw on another show that he has now become Mr. "secret government is bad government, open government is good government."

What a fine American!

(Or is it fear of prosecution?)

I can look away -- easy! That's because I know there are only so many minutes in a day. How many of them do I want to spend with Dickless Cheney? F@ck -- I've spent too many alr

Ya know, I wasn't a huge Bush/Cheney fan, but compared to Obama/Biden - I'll take them back in a second. I certainly don't blame them as much as you do and I do see the flaws. But in my book, it was the democratic 2006 congress that really attached the anchor to this country and pushed it off the ship. Obama is THE most CLUELESS president that we've had since Jimmy Carter and he is beginning to make Carter look good.

Ok, correct me if I'm wrong, there is a 3.6 trillion budget, a trillion dollar stimulus, the omnibus was 860 billion, the wars another extra 70 billion.

Change we can believe in? He also wants to spend a measley 300+ million on new cars for the fed. gov. There is more bailout coming to the banks, no-doubt.

And this guy has been in office how long? It's almost surreal what is happening when we need to be cautious about spending with the economy the way it is. Maybe?

I must be insane...........

"...no longer a war on terror; it's an overseas contingency operation..."The news is never in the headline, but rather in the inadvertent, tangential slip.

The goal always was PERMANENT BASES in the middle-east.

Cheney had some good points, and showed restraint in not blindly expanding the shill's overwrought constructs.

- torture was bad.

- iraq war was bad.

- TARP money was bad.

- prescription benefits was bad.

- no child left behind was bad.

but the bush administration did not single handedly crash the global economic system. implying so detracts from the truth and therefore the solution.

More like a GOP-choreographed dirty dancing routine.

These two dancing queens know all the 'right' moves.

Which one was leading?

The overseas contingency operations are included in the fy10 budget. W held the war against terror out of the budget package.
Didn't the fed monetize a nice chunk of the stimulus?
Is the omnibus part of the budget?

Shock and awe over federal spending seems a bit disengenuous these days. The gubmint has been spending furiously for 3 decades or more now.

Cheney's coming out now because he knows Obama has given torturers immunity.

Just like all of those hard-hitting CNN, MSNBC, 20/20, Leno, etc. interviews of the Clintons, Al Gore & Kerry....

But Fox News is the pariah.

Yeah, right.

Consistency, people.

Let's see two years of Pelosi and Ried leading a do nothing congress that was more concerned with whether baseball players were on the juice than doing something about the economy that was already falling apart before they got left holding the bag, I mean seized power.

Read the history of the last thirty years. This mess is a neutron bomb that will destroy the American economy as we know it and your God--Ronald Wilson Reagan pushed the button.

James Earl Carter Jr was the last president that was not a whore for Wall Street. He was the last good and honorable man who has served in the Oval Office and possibly the first.

I'm guessing your name "Single" is in reference to your intellectual ability is on par with that of a single celled lifeform.

"...Bush administration officials say...if they had known the full history of the interrogation methods...would have advised against using them..."Ah yes; the old "we're just fukkups" canard.

The best and the brightest Ivy League grads, history's actors(whom the rest of us will be left to study what they do) were unaware that other regimes worked over their prisoners.

Who knew?
