Here's Peter Schiff, potential 2010 Senate candidate, with his 2006 speech to the Den of Evil (i.e. the Mortgage Brokers Association)

Can you imagine the stones it took to walk into a room of mortgage brokers and tell them that they'd all lose their jobs, and that the ponzi scheme they helped create was gonna come tumbling down?

Schiff's thinking about running for Senate I hear, as the GOP candidate to challenge scumbag Chris Dodd. He said if he ran and won, he'd be in it for one term, a non-politician sent to DC to shake it up.

It would be beautiful. Schiff vs. Dodd. And then once he gets in, 1 vs. 99, and the 1 burns the place down.

Let's get it on. I think the internets could raise millions for Schiff if he ran. And yes, I think he could win.

Instead of showing Peter during his speech they should have showed the audience. I'm sure it would include a lot of squeaming, squirming, middle fingers, people leaving.

Dodd's a whoring pig. But don't be surprised if the idiots in CT elect him again. After all, look at the other idiot senator they elected.

Don't forget about Dr. Rand Paul running for Senate in Kentucky. He is the son of Congressman Ron Paul.

Rand is not afraid to go on shows like the Alex Jones Show. I would expect to hear him on Glenn Beck any day now. This Liberty Movement is really taking foot lately. I'm frankly excited about it.

One term, yeah sure. Just like Wellstone only serving two, right?

If Schiff gets into office he will become just as corrupt as the rest of them.

Peter Schiff, wrong again and again again....

The guy has zero cred.

Wow, yep he nailed it. Perfectly logical.
This was a really understandable synopsis. I like his practical examples.
Hmmm, was he invited back in 2007 and 2008? Do they still have this get-together?
I think he is still saying the same things, right?
I just always feel like I am late to the party though. Like the minute I touch gold it will nosedive.

I would be more excited if Schiff, Ron Paul, Rand Paul, Marcy Kaptur and a few others formed a new political party.

Regardless, Schiff has my vote.

I have a better chance of being the next Sen from CT. And I don't live in CT.

Dodd will win with 60% of the vote. That's how retarded Democrats are.

BTW, this was the 3rd time I've watched all 8 parts of this speech. Schiff is brilliant, but his problem is that he keeps telling people what they don't want to hear. Does that make him electable? I have serious doubts.

He can't run on a platform of hatred towards the Fed and U.S. Gov't complicity. His message would have to morph in to something positive.

I've watched this three times and Idol twice. Go figure.

Wow. He really must have pissed them off. That's okay, after the conference, they were comforted by
their whores and piles of cocaine.

And we know how Schiff can talk on and on for a good filibuster. :)

Just poking fun. I too am a huge Schiff fan.

The so-called "liberty" people aren't any different than the other corrupt politicians. They're even promoting a dynasty ("Rand Paul is Ron Paul's son!") just like the Kennedys and Bushes.

Part 2: "...a lot of people today in the real estate market have the same idea when I tell them that property prices are going to drop 50, 60 ,70, 80 percent. They don't think it can happen. They don't think the government will let it happen..." {0:45}Isn't it appalling watching this fascist corporate welfare state try to prop it up?

Loved that prediction; Merced, CA...down 50 PERCENT IN ONE YEAR! (page 29)

Cratered so bad they changed the name from Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight(HYSTERICALLY funny now in hindsight)to the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA)...

It's all about Finance nowadays, folks. ;^D

Of course, if he did run as a republican, you would reflectively brand him a crazy radical and deem all of his opinions wrong and racist.
