2000 - 2009 was the worst jobs decade ever for America. And the worst stock market decade ever. Thank you Republican Party!

And some people still support these jokers why?

Seriously, with that pitiful record, how stupid would you have to be to call yourself a Republican? You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can fool a Republican all of the time it would appear.

Keep hating the fags. Keep stressing about abortion and flag burners.

Meanwhile, you're jobless and broke.

(UPDATE - P.S. - THE DEMOCRATS SUCK TOO. But for pure negligence, corruption and incompetence, the GOP takes the prize - worst of the worst. 2010 recommendation - vote 3rd party and anti-incumbent. 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2018 - repeat.)

Stocks ending their worst decade ever

Worst Ever Decade For Jobs

Now that's the major tool I remember. It's both parties you retard.

didnt you realize yet that Obama was a great speaker w/no real substance, and that those idiots you hate (Reid, Pelosi, Dodd, and Frank) are running the country?

As we sow, so shall we reap.

This used to be a nation where people sacrificed the present for the future.

Today it is the exact opposite, neither party dares to impose austerity on the people, even the GOP.

Still falling for that Donkey vs. Elephant thing huh? The Republicans rammed down unprecedented unconstitutional legislation on the American people which is why there was a mass ejection of Republicans at election time. The same thing is now happening on the Democrat side. They are ramming even worse legislation down our throats now which will lead to another violent swing back again. The thing everyone keeps missing is that the corrupt legislation on both sides keeps lessening our quality of life. Somehow they always agree to raise the debt ceiling and further burden the American people. When are people going to wake up to the fact that both parties have no interest in serving the people?

There was this TIME cover spoof going around at the time when Bush won the presidency in 2000.

How prophetic it turned out to be.

Bunch of backward monkeys.

There are some CONSERVATIVE ideals that Republicans should (and somehow forgot) to embrace...accountability, small government, low taxes, limited spending...a party that believes in that and is ok socially with most things would win outright.

Still no apology for being conned by the gloabal warmists?

Which president signed NAFTA?
How many Democrats voted for CAFTA?
How many Democrats voted for the permanent debt slavery act?

You need to face reality, the only jobs created were non exportable service jobs, which disappeared the moment plentiful credit disappeared.
Have no fear though, Obama will save you, he will put all the jobless to work on the census, wars, etc.
Keith, do you think Danny Glover was right about their being no difference between Obama and Bush?

How many Democrats supported every so-called "free trade agreement"?

How many democrats voted for the bankruptcy bill?

How many Democrats votd for the Wall Street bailout (when they could have simply used there constitutional money coining power to fund the economy and avert a prolonged recession) ?

How many Democrats voted to raise the debt ceiling whlile funding two wars on the credit card?

Kith I love you bro, but get real. There is no difference between the parties and the Republicrats are screwing us all.

To anyone that cares Google "George Carlin owners country" and you should ind a link to his monologue on who pwned you...

The stock market is nothing more than a ponzi scheme and casino where insiders control all the cards. You have stupid people buying share of insolvent citi even when the crooks just offered millions more in a sceondary offering. Some people are drinking some serious koolaid right now.Get your money out while you still have some left. These wall street insiders will take every last penny from your sorry ass and piss on your grave when they are done with you.I learned the hard way my friends.

And do not listen to any of the rhetoric about global warming. That is another scam that they are going to totally kick your ass to the curb with.

Republicans luv taking over bankrupt companies for pennies on the dollar. Republicans luv paying parents a fraction of a living wage while children go hungry.

You just don't get it, do you? To you, it is a destroyed economy and a country crippled. To republicans, it is a buying opportunity and a reliable workforce. Where is the positive attitude? Don't worry -- be happy!

Lost Cause said...

PS -- Contrast the 2000's with the 1990's. Bill Clinton did a great job -- longest economic expansion of all time.

Look at what a kid from a trailer in Arkansas was capable of doing. You republicans are weak.

Lost Cause said...

PPS -- Don't blame me -- I voted with the majority. I knew that Bush was bad news. Gore should have been president. What a shame for this country, to have his brother throw the election for him, and have conservative judges stop the recount. Shame, shame shame. Nothing good came out of his crimes, except for more crimes.

Oh boy here we go ! Are you still hung up on that 2 party belief system ? That is sooo last decade keith . So whats the problem now , you have your precious bleeding heart socialists in power now . Hows that working out triple the deficit last i checked and please don't give me they had no choice bullshit . We are heading full speed over the economic cliff both so called parties would have eventually steered us there . But the Democrats are much faster their health care plan will be great like shifting into 5Th gear . Why drag this out. Warp speed in third world status .

I agree, a sad, sad group indeed. Even sadder is that the corporatist clowns of the Democratic Party share the same crappy agenda. Big government, small government, it doesn't really matter as long as the government we have is only working for <1% of us.

Well firstable, can't believe you're back. Second, how can Anyone be in this 2 party system. How stupid must you be that u fail to see both parties have the same boss, the corporate lobby and not the American people.

I always remember growing up here in Scandinavia in the 60's and 70's , how fondly my parents went after the MADE IN U.S.A label on just about everything they bought.

I remember the BIG box that contained the brand new refrigerator from Kelvinator arriving at our house as a kid. BIG BOLD letters , MADE IN U.S.A and feeling proud since my parents knew this thing would last FOREVER and swore by everything that had that MADE IN U.S.A printed on the box.

They drove a Ford TORINO and later a LTD. Good cars compared to what the shit Europe and Japan was producing then.

The MADE IN U.S.A label is GONE !! What remains in the U.S.A as American Made is still the best in the world. Borg Warner , Anyone?

The transfer of wealth and jobs to a communist nation that will take decades to get up to par on quality based on production speed accomplished by established industrial nations is devastating to the consumer.

I avoid American companies that sell MADE IN CHINA goods.

They suck , and so do their products.

The sad thing is, the Repube political faction is going to make a comeback in 2010 and 2012 due to the fucktardedness of the Obama Administration. The "health care reform" will be one of the Democrap-made bricks the 'Pukes use to bash the Dimmies with. The R's, who are the party of Big Business, will also be able to attack the Dems as the party of Big Banking. It will all be a sham, but the Repigs are more vigorous fighters than the lickspittle Dems, so they'll kick some ass.

Electoral reversals will be made. It will appear that America still has a two-party political system. Of course, it's two sock puppets pretending to fight each other, while the hands inside the puppets are controlled by the same corporate forces that have always been running things. But the sheeple will be diverted, as their lives get crappier and crappier.

Part of me hopes to see some summers of rage in the U.S., but another part doesn't, because now I'm too close to the U.S. border. Plus I'd hate to see innocent people get hurt, and the guilty bastards at the top will escape largely untouched if there's a breakdown of civil order. OTOH, if it gets bad enough, perhaps Mrs. Bukko will decide we were better off in Australia and we can re-immigrate. I have unlimited "ins and outs" privileges on my visa there until 2014...

Pointing out the GOP's miserable record when they were in power is NOT an endorsement of the Democrats.

i.e. saying Stalin sucked is not an endorsement of Lenin.

TARPTALFHAMP said...

Sorry Keith, but I call bullshit on your GOP bashing on the lost jobs. Robert Rubin and Alan Greenspan did us in with their landmark 1995 deal to open our markets to Chinese products. Unlike the Japanese, the Chinese were never required to reciprocate with production facilities over here (only with illegal campaign contributions to Dems), and the Clinton administration stood by as the horror unfolded. The giant sucking sound Ross Perot predicted wasn't just under Clinton's Oval Office desk, it was coming from China, Vietnam, Malaysia, etc. as Rubin's deal with the devil flushed millions of American jobs down the lu.

Unknown said...

Lampunderbasket is the one that understands. Republicans/Democrats--it doesnt' matter anymore. And you are not concerned by this health bill that is a total fraud and sham? And how bribes (see Nebraska senator) are being OPENLY AND BLATANTLY made in their desparation to have this passed as quickly as possible before the Sheeple figure out what is really going on. Seriously, Keith???

Go ahead Keith, keep on playing that right/left blame game, it pleases your oligarchy masters greatly to see that you're still buying it.

2000-2009 worst jobs decade and worst stock market decade ...

Wait for 2010- 2012 when their ridiculous sugar high stimulus wears off . New records will be set . The unproductive sector earning 30k average more than the private sector jobs that are disappearing . How long before the fat asses run out of cheese doodles and get pissed off ???

LOL....good one Keith!!!

I agree that both parties are just different finger puppets under control of the same hand.

Merry Xmas Keith and welcome back (for now).

A step in the right direction,

now take the next step.

Obama talk nice but both parties carry out the agenda of those who have bought them. With minor hickups here and there like Ron Paul who are then marginalized by the media which has been bought by the same people.

Hey when does American Idol start?

Both parties have S H R E D D E D the Constitution. Now look what has happened:

Massive Corruption
Massive Unemployment
Asset Bubbles
Loss of Liberty
Unjust Foreign Wars

I blame Republicans, I blame Democrats and I blame the people. It's time for everyone to take responsibility for cleaning up this mess. The first step is to clean house in the 2010 elections. The next step is to give that lunatic and all his czars a one way ticket from D.C. to any other country in the world. Send the Bushes and Clintons with them too while we're at it.

SUCK ON IT LOSERS!!

I think of it as more a distasteful nod to the police state.

After 6-7 years of Neocon aggression and madness, one could not be too much of a suckup.

Now I'll pretend not to criticize the Dems too much; that would be unpatriotic as well.

Anything our government does is fine with me. Freedom fries with my ribbons, please.

Best laugh ever: conservative and Republican in the same sentence.

Thanks to a link I found at Jesse's Cafe Americain, here's a site where you can read it all for free! The prose is a bit stilted because it was written by a 19th-Century Englishman, but damn! is it prophetic about the current economic mess, the tech stock bubble and so much other modern financial foolishness. It's not like we're doing anything new these days, just falling for the same old bullshit disguised in different clothes...

Bullshit! You have had an Obama brown nose for over a year now.

I am with Ross. And by the way sticking with Ron Paul would have saved a lot of your credibility on this issue Keith. As I said in the past Obama has turned out as bad as Bush already.

Look at the aftermath of history's manias, and then contrast that with Green Shoots.

I call it the Bush Depression. Not the Great Bush Depression since some of the republican die-hards here might think it means bush was great. we have all heard it before, the pres always gets the blame for the economy rightly or wrongly. and when the lil' bush was planted in the white house the first thing he did was blame the then current yet mild recession on his predecessor. he promptly made the situation worse by providing the sheeple another bubble to replace the tech bubble. by his own yardstick we can measure him, and his administration is still reckoned a disaster, at least by any one with a reasonable mind...
