Well, he's no George Carlin but my cat did cozy up to the screen when he started with his sounds.

Funny but stupid. Opium is 'natural' should we legalize it? Hemlock is 'natural' and it kills man if he ingests it. Lots of 'natural' things will kill you, so the argument that it's 'nature' is rather absurd.

I watched the video and thought to myself, " Why did Keith Post this"?
It doesn't have anything to do with the financial crisis.(?) It's just about an unpopular law that people spend a lot of time criticizing, trying to understand, and rebelling against.
It has consumed the thoughts of many for a long time.
Hmm?

Funny, sure.

And I do think that marijuana and hemp should be legalized.

But I still wouldn't recommend anybody smoke dope or eat magic mushrooms.

When you're high, the things you think are funny aren't actually funny. The brilliant insights and ideas you get while high are completely impractical.

I honestly see no benefits to the use of these drugs that impair your contact with reality.

But if people are going to use them anyway, which they are, then we might as well legalize them and tax them to fund addiction treatment centers.

Legalization of soft drugs like marijuana would cut the legs out from under the organized criminals, murderers and scumbags who make a living from it.

Keith,

Great clip. Seems like you've been smoking a bit lately, eh?

Nothing wrong with that.

Surprisingly esoteric Bill Hicks bit there. Gotta love you tube.

I do not take drugs, but marijuana was made illegal in the 1930’s because it was a competitor to a man made fiber. Search Google to find out more.
