Gotta love the pets.com sock puppet. Mascot for pets.com Then pitchman for subprime auto lender BarNone. And of course, heisted for HousingPANIC

Here he is, asking for a bailout:

Here he is, pitching car loans (that will eventually default) to broke people:

And here he was, back in the day:

Wonder what's next - you know, after BarNone goes bankrupt. Maybe get a gig with the NAR? "Now's a great time to buy or sell a house!"

I've always loved the sock puppet dog and was sorry to see him go when pets.com pooped out. I remember when he got trashed by Triumph the Insult Comic Dog. Very funny stuff. I'm glad you have resurrected the sock puppet.

Notice in the pets.com video that the iguana was smart enough to ignore him. Just sayin

Socket puppets should be banned from being pitchmen. They're too cute and convincing.

I can't tell you how many times a sock puppet has lead me down the primrose path to financial destruction.

Strong family resemblance to you, Keith. Your evil twin, maybe? The anti-Keithst?

That's awesome! But why so modest? A measly $25 billion that's all you're asking when CITI & AIG both got north of $100 billion. Don't sell yourself short, without sock puppets we're facing systematic failure, the entire market could seize up.

Those were great commercials.
Unfortunately, they didn't sell enough. Maybe the Stuffed Sock should have gotten a real estate license and sold condos.

I like that in the last video at 0:22 Mr. Sock is singing "What Comes Up..."
