A politically incorrect pamphlet hitting on all the unspeakable stuff: Politics. Economics. Fiscal Policy. Foreign Policy. Moral Issues. Culture. Investments. Religion. Humor. Life.
Look at them, A Gay Bastard and Mafia Face creating our economic laws that have bought this country to the brink of collapse. Get some real man with balls to run this country and get this fags out!
As far as I can tell, the 'people' are worried but continuing on simply because... what else are they going to do? The mood seems to be one of cautious optimism. Nobody seems to be making preparations at all for a depression. It's almost as if the attitude is "I'm pretty sure we're fucked but what else am I going to do?"...and I'm screaming- stop spending so much, cut back, save at least a little money, maybe start a small pantry of durable foods should things get really bad.
I think things are going to start changing though. As more and more people lose their jobs, a murmuring can be heard that's going to get very vocal in the next few months. Already two of my friends are out of work and everybody else is worried about losing theirs.
Keith, please read this article by Bloomberg exposing the sweet deal that Paulson did to bankers, through TARP. Taxpayers invested much more than Buffett but didn't get the same terms. We're lucky if we ever see any money back. Amazing how Congress approved this...bunch of thieves:
Selfish, senseless, sinful baby-boomers have ruined the country and they have done it in just about 40 years.
What kind of people are we that we keep electing something as vile as a Barney Frank to represent us?
Another question. Where is everyone? The country is empty. I just traveled across the USA and can tell you that there is no one in the restaurants or stores, no one on the beaches, no one in the playgrounds.
It was like an episode of Twilight Zone. I think people are afraid of what is coming. Are they hiding at home? Does everyone have an underground bomb shelter stocked with MREs but me?
They are all scared - and need to invest their time finding scapegoats other then themselves.
Most of these Government employees could never make it in private industry, so they hide out behind the safety of tax-payer's dollars to do whatever the heck they want.

I'll drink to that, and it will probably come, just not yet.
Barney Frank is my Hero.
Treating banks like they treat their customers.
No bonuses or jets for bank execs...
when? yesterday.
GUILTY! GUILTY! GUILTY!

Have nice day.
You place their heads up high on pikes at the entrances to DC so that all future politicians entering the swamp are reminded of their sworn duty.
I'm wondering when the USA starts importing guillotines from France.
