"Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity."
- Martin Luther King Jr., Strength to Love, 1963
Here it is folks.
Tea Partiers are idiots.
Sure, a few of 'em aren't. But damn, just look at these stats, and it should be fairly obvious, if you're not an idiot, that the teabaggers are idiots. Maybe the should rename the party as the Know Nothing Party.
I know it would have been a natural for readers of HousingPANIC to be teabaggers. Hell, that's what Dick Armey wanted when he got a hold of me, to support his astroturf Angry Renter blog. But I quickly saw that the Ron Paul tea party money bomb movement was being co-opted by Fox News, the GOP, Karl Rove, Roger Ailes, Sarah Palin, Dick Armey and essentially the very same bastards that got us into this mess, and no way no how was I going to support 'em.
And then I saw who was showing up at the Fox News Tea Party rallies. A bunch of wingnuts. Fox News viewers. Republicans. Conspiracy theorists. Ignoramuses. Idiots.
Be mad at deficit spending and taxes, but you better be against Social Security, Medicare and military spending too. And boy, I hope you don't support the Dick Armey Fox News teabaggers. I hope you don't support the bastards who got us into this mess - from either side of the aisle. And I hope you're not an idiot.
Here's some gems from the teabagger survey:
59% of Tea Partiers think Obama was born in another country or don't know
Two thirds of Tea Partiers said they had a favorable opinion of Palin, 59 percent have a favorable opinion of Beck. Fifty-seven percent think well of former Republican President George W. Bush
66% of teabaggers think global warming will have no impact. Seriously.
62% support Social Security. Idiots. They want low spending, low taxes, but DON'T CUT MY GOVERNMENT CHEESE!
89% are white. 1% are black. Surprise!
92% say that Obama is moving the country toward socialism
54% identify as belonging to the GOP while 41% claim to be Independents. Just 5% are Democrats
75% don't believe that the president shares the values of most Americans
[UPDATE - GOP operatives crash the tea party]

This just in, most people know tea beggars are dumbshits.
This also just in, last thing the world needed was another dumb fucking post pointing out that fact.
I think I am done with this place. All you want to do now is start flame wars. Your moments of insight and intellectual thought are coming fewer and further between.
No, I don't want flame wars. I just want informed, intelligent debate. Can't have that with tea party idiots though, so a bit of a problem.
A side note - I didn't know what the break-up of the Republican party would look like, even as I was predicting it a few years back.
Well, I think we know what it looks like now. Adults stay with the Republicans. Idiots and children go with the Tea Party.
In 2010, thanks to Fox News, they'll vote together for Republican candidates. But after that, you'll see the Republicans get 1/2 and the tea party get 1/2. And yes, that leaves 50% or more for the Democrats.
In other words, the best thing to ever happen to the Democratic Party is the introduction of the Tea Party. All it's doing is officially breaking up and fracturing the GOP.
Maybe Roger Ailes and Karl Rove aren't the geniuses I've made them out to be. After all, they've lost the House, Senate and Presidency. And crashed the world. And now they've broken up their own party.
You want informed, intelligent debate, but start off the thread by calling teaparty members idiots. That's a great way to start you effing douchebag. Ron Paul is right is right.
Right on schedule, the MSM picks up what really happened with the "Tea Party"
Read it and weep.
You can fool fools most of the time.

GOP operatives crash the tea party
Just days after the first widespread tea party demonstrators hit the streets a year ago Thursday, Joe Wierzbicki, a Republican political consultant with the Sacramento firm Russo Marsh + Rogers, made a proposal to his colleagues that he said could “give a boost to our PAC and position us as a growing force/leading force as the 2010 elections come into focus.”
The proposal, obtained by POLITICO, was for a nationwide tea party bus tour, to be called the Tea Party Express, which over the past seven months has become among the most identifiable brands of the tea party movement. Buses emblazoned with the Tea Party Express logo have brought speakers and entertainers to rallies in dozens of small towns and big cities, including one in Boston on Wednesday that will feature former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.
Aided by campaign-style advance work and event planning, slick ads cut by Russo Marsh, impressive crowds and a savvy media operation, the political action committee run by Wierzbicki, Russo Marsh founder Sal Russo and a handful of other Republican operatives has also emerged as among the prolific fundraising vehicles under the tea party banner. Known as Our Country Deserves Better when it was founded during the 2008 election as a vehicle to oppose Barack Obama’s campaign for president, the PAC saw its fundraising more than quadruple after it took the Tea Party Express public in July, raising nearly $2.7 million in roughly the following six months, compared with less than $600,000 in the preceding six months, according to Federal Election Commission filings.
More of the smoking gun:
“We can probably pull off a phenomenally successful tour without these big-ego establishment types,” Wierzbicki wrote in his proposal, cautioning his colleagues that in any effort to woo them “We have to be very, very careful about discussing amongst ourselves anyone we include ‘outside of the family’ because quite frankly, we are not only not part of the political establishment or conservative establishment, but we are also sadly not currently a part of the ‘tea party’ establishment.”
Wierzbicki posited that his PAC’s lack of establishment tea party backing could be offset by winning over “local tea party leaders and grass-roots conservatives” and also by generating buzz including “mentions and possibly even promotion from conservative/pro-tea party bloggers, talk radio hosts, Fox News commentators, etc…”
So the tea baggers are idiots.
Tell me something I didn't know.
It dosn't make Obama any less of a smooth operating snake.
92% say that Obama is moving the country toward socialism
you think that is a wingnut conspiracy idea?
So,
You Hate the Republicans
You Hate the Democrats
You Hate big stores like Wall Mart
You Hate Tea Baggers
You Hate Realtors
Are you ok with people who have mustaches?
Are tall peoples ok?
Dude you need to seek out help!
Blogging therapy seems to be wearing thin.
ok tea party folks are idiots.
but that doesn't mean obama is not a socialist nannystate idiot.
"59% of Tea Partiers think Obama was born in another country or don't know"
Where's the birth certificate? Why spend millions to fight its release? Where's his college records? Obama could end this in five minutes.
"66% of teabaggers think global warming will have no impact. Seriously."
They're more informed than you.

"88% say the economic stimulus has had no impact on the economy - 36% said it actually made the economy worse. I guess they never took an econ 101 class. Or noticed the gdp numbers."
Stealing money at gunpoint and creating money out of thin air doesn't create a dollar of real GDP.
"62% support Social Security. Idiots. They want low spending, low taxes, but DON'T CUT MY GOVERNMENT CHEESE!"
Social Security isn't really a welfare program if you paid into it during your working life.
"89% are white. 1% are black. Surprise!"
99% of blacks voted for Obama instead of McCain. Are they racist? Whites are against socialism because they have to pay for it. Blacks and Latinos are the primary beneficiaries of socialism. Because of socialism and illegal immigration, whites are funding their own genocide.
"92% say that Obama is moving the country toward socialism"
Yes, Obama is left of the Chicoms. His socialism makes Bush's spending look responsible.
"75% don't believe that the president shares the values of most Americans"
He doesn't share the values of most americans. This is a right of center country. Obama ran his campaign as a centrist and then governed as a radical communist.
Anyone who supports Sarah Palin for President of the United States is crazy. Scary. Delusional.
Can we please finally put this idiotic notion that obama is a socialist to rest? http://www.cnn.com/2010/POLITICS/04/14/Obama.socialist/index.html?hpt=C2
I mean really, just how damn stupid these people can be is annoying! Keith, its obvious the teabaggers have nothing, no rational arguments, no intelligent case to make, they are just pissed that not only did a democrat win the election, but a black guy to boot! the horrors! and really he is not even completely black, he is half white and grew up in Kansas for crying out loud! They have nothing Keith, and further, didnt gwb have like a 22% approval rating when he left? and now 57% of these fools think favorably of the worst president ever!? I mean come on, its obvious these guys are a complete minority an dare bankrupt in ideas! You should stop spending your time on these losers, they are going exactly nowhere. Their idiocy is tiring you shuold move on and not pick on the retards!

.
OMG!
I'm a Tea partier
I was never sure of the definition
until now.
Thanks for waking me up!
.
Stimulus,
What stimulus?
Do you know of anyone who benefited from it?
Keith are you just bored??? These posts are VERY lazy.
At worst say 50% of the tea party types are completely misguided. That's about in line with the 50% of this country that is completely clueless. So why single them out.
Especially when they are the ones primary-ing the crap Republicans with fiscal conservatives and libertarians. That alone makes them worthy of praise.
When the face of congress is changed for the better in Nov the tea party set will have played a large part.
But it seems you love of PrezBo blinds you to that fact. I'm negative on all politicians and refuse to drink the kool aid. It's always the lesser of 2 evils.
What makes you think Obama is special. He'd assaulted individual liberty at every turn (Forcing me to buy a health ins product???) He's continuing the welfare/warfare state and has been all to happy to bail out the banks.
Give me the empirical evidence Keith. What makes him so great?
Martin Luther King Jr. had a lot of strength when it to loving.
Ask Coretta Scott King on his various affairs.
Oh and BTW:
"Poll Finds Tea Party Backers Wealthier and More Educated"
http://www.cnbc.com/id/36549470
From the NY Times no less Keith.
I know, I know ... I'm letting facts get in the way of a good flame war.
I use to be a fan of HP. But not this place. This place is the "hate" place. Hate for all that is politically incorrect.
Bye bye. I'll check in again in another 6 mos to see if this act is cleaned up or not.
CBS News/New York Times poll: Tea partiers love Fox News, Beck, and Palin
Tonight, as yet another round of Fox News promoted tax-day Tea parties take place around the country, CBS News and the New York Times are out with a poll offering what the Times describes as a "detailed look at the profile and attitudes of" Tea party supporters.
http://mediamatters.org/blog/201004140082
92% of Teabaggers say that Obama is moving the country toward socialism.
Yup. They're idiots.
Keith,
I want you to respond to this post, please.
1) Would you say that credit made the economy expand between 1980 and 2007?
2) If yes to the above, do you believe credit is coming back? If no, please provide how GDP expanded, cause it sure was NOT wages.
3) If yes, how? aren't banks still un-willing to lend and consumers unable to borrow?
We are almost there.
You know full well that what has kept the world economy at float has been credit. Wage growth has been stagnant in the US. If credit is not expanding in the US (believe me it is not), than how do you suggest GDP will grow?
Please provide an intelligent answer other than "the government will not let it happen".
AGAIN, one thing is the market flying of opium and the other is reality. I could give a shit about the tea baggers and the idiot Glenn Beck. Reality is reality.
We will be the first ones to get out as you say. It's no surprise as Americans think outside the box.
Also, you are not in the US so please DO not say that everyone is bearish on stocks. I am the only idiot that is still bearish at this point. Everyone else I know thinks we are headed for DOW 15k. I dont know who you are talking to in London, but it's not here in the US for sure.
Dny
Probably Tea Baggers will blame the Iceland Volcano on Obama too. . .seriously - just was reading the days news, and looks like the turnout for Teabag Thursday is kind of low. . .seems the movement is self destructing. . .will likely peak today - tax day in US, and then kind of fizzle out over the summer.
Well, Keith. . .guess we are stuck in old Europe if the volcano keeps going. . .was going to Easyjet down to Nice over the weekend, but that ain't gonna happen.
Another thing Keith,
I have been a Democrat my whole life. Obama is not taking the US to socialism and all the other BS that the tea baggers are saying, but you know full well he has made huge mistakes.
Preventing the write off of bad loans will extend this depression. We needed to clear that toxic crap out of the financial system. He chose to keep the old (sounds European no??) instead of letting it go.
If you love America than you do not want Americans to be high-jacked and debt slaves by the same people we bailed out. And that is exactly the path that our government chose for us.
You seem to think that because the market is shooting higher that the economic realities of this country are different. So explain to me how 500k out of work in the last month is any improvement.
It sounds to me like Dick Armey has high-jacked the tea party movement and the Hope movement has high-jacked HP.
Please come out and tell us how you said the market would go higher, but do not tell us that the economy is better and that our financial system is fixed because you know that is a total lie. Don't ignore my posts as you usually do, and respond. Ooops, almost forgot, tea partiers are idiots.
Dny
Mark - I'm trying to figure out how to get into London in a few days without flying. 20 hours by overnight train. Ouch.
Volcano. Who'd have thunk it. Messes up my plans, but just like a lot of things in life, expect the unexpected.
On this post, I think the message is, expect the unexpected. And I think the expectation is that the tea baggers will continue to grow and grow and grow. When I suggest they've already peaked, at around 19%. Their GOP funders have been exposed. Their enabler, Fox News, has been exposed. And their internal crazies will now take them down. Probably with some arrests along the way.
I hope they keep their 15% - 19% for a bit. The GOP needs a face of crazy, and they fill the bill. Too bad for them the elections weren't in March 2010. November will be too late.
Here is a beauty Keith. Maybe HP will come back to you. From Mish:
Foreclosure Activity Hits Record 932,234 properties in First Quarter; Defaults Rise In Loan Modification Program; Statistical Nonsense on "Help".
Oh yeah, let me guess.... Mish is also a tea partier. Hahahahah.
You are starting to sound like a nazi. If you don't like them, just call them terrorists. It's an easy cop out. Stop playing this little game Keith, you sound like Hitler!
Dny
"I know it would have been a natural for readers of HousingPANIC to be teabaggers."
And we have proof of your hypocrisy. Now try to go back to your roots from HP, it does not mean you have to be a teabagger, and it also does not mean you have to lie in bed with the enemy.
Tu Ne Cede Malis. This does not mean join the evil twin.
There are plenty of us Keith who are not teabagging, Beck loving, or Palin fantasizing. There are those of us who don't need either party and their lies.
I wish I could say the same for you but by endorsing Obama you ARE endorsing greater military, medicare in some from or another, and SS, Walmart, Unions, and proping up a failed faux economy.
BTW By endorsing Obama you endorse
"92% say that Obama is moving the country toward socialism"
I somewhat agree with you, Keith. Eight percent of them are idiots.
"Tea Party supporters are wealthier and more well-educated than the general public, and are no more or less afraid of falling into a lower socioeconomic class, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News poll."
PWNED.
Ok Keith, if Obama is so wonderful lets make a bet right now for everyone on this forum to see ok?? One of two things will happen during the election of 2012.
1. Obama will lose to another candidate.
2. Obama will not even run for re-election (he will make some excuse how his job is done blah blah blah, but really he will know by the poll numbers he will never win).
Come on lets bet? If he is so great back up your words.
