"Change has come to America". Yes, it has. It has indeed.

Just when you thought we'd never shake our national funk. Just when you thought America had forever lost its way. Just when thought the forces of evil and darkness and corruption and incompetence would never release their stranglehold over the land.

This happens.

America has suffered through the worst presidency in its history. The people had become demoralized, cynical and negative. The economy had fallen off a cliff. Corruption and cronyism and lawlessness had reigned. Hope was lost.

And then, by a large but too-slim majority, the country was reborn. "America" as a brand and as a concept was relaunched around the world. In a big way. And hope was unleashed. And hope began again.

America's back.

Just in the nick of time.

Let's get to work.

The road ahead will be long. Our climb will be steep. We may not get there in one year or even one term, but America – I have never been more hopeful than I am tonight that we will get there. I promise you – we as a people will get there.

There will be setbacks and false starts. There are many who won’t agree with every decision or policy I make as President, and we know that government can’t solve every problem. But I will always be honest with you about the challenges we face. I will listen to you, especially when we disagree. And above all, I will ask you join in the work of remaking this nation the only way it’s been done in America for two-hundred and twenty-one years – block by block, brick by brick, calloused hand by calloused hand.

I have a lot of opinions on how America needs to be re-built brick by brick ,and sometimes that means
totally knocking down a structure in order to build a new foundation .

One of those structures that needs a
overall is the lobbyist system in politics .You saw before your very eyes how the fat cats got their way with the Paulson Wall Street Bail Out ,in spite of public opinion of the Majority being against it .

The Lobbyist got their way with the removal of the long held protections in lending
regulations . Many of the evils of today are a direct result of the rich fat cats influencing our elected politicians . While Big Business still tries to hide just how much the housing bubble was a byproduct of Wall Street running Washington ,it is the same evil that took this Nation down in 1929.

Capitalism was always meant to be regulated. It has to be . Given the proper regulations ,Capitalism can be the most productive system
that is possible .

It could be true that if a Country is to populated ,(like China ), that Capitalism could be more difficult .

We've all heard this argument over and over again. Yes of course capitalism needs regulation - they are called laws. The USA used to be ruled by law not ruled by men.

When the laws are selectively enforced and when cronies in government abuse the laws and get away with it then it is not the fault of capitalism. It's corruption and fraud.

We don't need more regulation. We need to enforce the law as it stands now and force transparency of financial institutions. With transparency the market polices itself.

Government regulations are no panacea. When will people learn that? Government regulations are open to abuse and corruption too.

The housing bubble was never about a lack of regulations. It was too much regulations and government intervention in the form of the Fed and the Bubbleman Greenspan's policy of excessive liquidity and the social engineers in government who wanted to make housing available to everybody as part of the whole "Ownership Society".

Without this government intervention there would never have been a housing bubble because the eezy loans would not have been available and the malinvestment would never have occurred.

Before you start calling for MORE MORE MORE regulation and MORE MORE MORE government response at least try to understand the cause of the problem.

You can't fix government intervention with more government intervention!!!

Ask what you can do for Obama."
