The problem is the population is so dumbed down and misinformed by the mass media that they don't see clear violations of international law, the US Constitution and clear examples of genocide.
These people are liars and war criminals. Even if you are willing to accept that they simply made a "mistake" on invading Iraq and Afghanistan - THEY ARE STILL WAR CRIMINALS!!
Going after "terrorists" is no reason to invade a sovereign nation. What if some random terrorists from Japan attacked the US? Would that give carte blanche to the US to bomb and kill Japan's civilian population??

You can understand now why Bush replaced all of the democratic-leaning federal prosecutors - just a CYA move. He's safe unless Obama appoints some sort of special prosecutor, which would look like a witch hunt, and Obama doesn't have the time anyway.

They should be prosecuted and, if found guilty (as they surely will be), they should be fed into a woodchipper, slowly and feet first. Then let the worms and maggots convert what's left into compost so that they might, finally, contribute something useful to the planet they so assiduously raped.
Yes, as I have stated many times before here:
1. Censure Bushco and Cheneyburton immediately and remove from office forcibly if necessary. Handcuffs, leg irons and orange jumpsuits optional but available on moments notice. 24/7 news coverage.
Removes pardon power and stops them from committing felomies and starting new wars and wrecking what is left of America they haven't alreadt decimated.
2. Imprison Bushco and Cheneyburton in solitary confinement and full lockdown and give them a taste on a regular basis (daily)of Gitmo - style interrogation as they have prescribed others.
3. Permanently revoke passports.
4. Seize all assets. Sell and donate funds to war veterans that were killed (thanks to the illegal acts of these two punks)families.
5. If found guilty of murder, make the punishment fit the crime. Televise sentencing and punishment on all networs everywhere.
6. NO APPEALS. Jury of the American people to decide fate.
If not the people, parents of the children Bush and his crew sent to their deaths in their wars over oil to decide fate.

Justice is but a pale joke if these people go unpunished. These crimes go to the very foundation of what this country is. There is no force of law if they get away with it. Just look back at our former functioning system with nostalgia, because it can never work again, if there is no justice.

You can't call the Iraq War a violation of the law. The Persian Gulf War ended with a cease-fire contingent on Saddam not firing another shot. Saddam then proceeded to violate the cease-fire agreement 150 times. Always firing at American targets (not UN, not French, not German, not British). As soon as he violated the cease-fire we could legally have gone in and stomped on his head. And Clinton did.

We took the high-road and passed a half dozen UN resolutions, including 1441 which reiterated the violation of the cease-fire.
Just remember, Clinton didn't only threaten to attack Iraq militarily over WMDs; he actually did it.
If the President is guilty of war crimes, i'm all for prosecuting him. But such an action is completely inappropriate while we have servicemen and women still in harm's way.

I don't think that George Bush had some kind of evil intent in anything he did .Presidents that make mistakes aren't prosecuted .What about the check and balance of Congress and the Senate who gave him the financing for the War .

Ford pardoned Nixon because they were the same ticket. Obama has no loyalty to Bush, other than what he thinks is best for the country.
