That didn't take long. I guess Keith can't handle any criticism of Chairman Obama.
Oh well, enjoy revelling in your adulation of your Messiah. I won't bother frequenting this blog any more with the threat of censorship of ideas and dissenting views.
The only remaining positive about this blog was that it was relatively free of censorship even though I've noticed comments vanishing when they were too critical of Keith's fundamental beliefs on Obama or Keith's raison'd'etre, the promotion of the myth of Global Warming and false solutions for Global Warming.
Oh well, sayonara folks. Enjoy the Obama Kool-Aid but be warned it is a shallow bowl you are drinking from.
Criticize Obama all you will. I'll do the same. But add to the debate. Anon idiots bore me and I don't do this blog to be bored.

I want this blog to be smaller, but smarter. Quality, not quantity. And about hope and change and proactive solutions, not just tearing down the NAR.
We won. HP won. The REIC lost. Now this blog is about America. America needs to win. America needs to come out of this debacle and crash better than it was before.
I believe that is possible. Why else would an expat care so much about a country he doesn't even live in?
This is a work in progress. But I hope for good things.

Ask Mish if he would recommend JS Kit. The approved posts become unapproved, they disappear. Thirdston gets cheated out of his third ranking. Blogging is a tough job, but having the posts show up helps a lot.

Isn't it pretty obvious that Barack won't get a free pass here? I feel confident this blog has not drinken any of the koolaids. What's very obvious is that this blog intends to speak truth to power. And the power for the last 8 years has been in the hands of corrupt idiots. Heck of a job. And that that same party offered up, shamelessly, the most unqualified joke of a vice-presidential candidate in our nation's history. A candidate promoted by the likes of Bill Kristol, one of the joker neocons responsible for the selling of the Iraq war. She would have been his and Dobson's puppet. And Mr. Maverick was a complete sellout.
I like the comment policy except for one thing. The anti-swearing. I, for one, like to pepper my language on occasion.

Why?
Because only you determine what is "trolling" or what is "ignorant" or what is "repetitive", etc. etc. and you can silence dissent that carries the greatest weight, such as you've done before. And no one can call you on it since the content never shows up.
Your criteria is censorship of the worst kind, like Mao and Che's communist methods of control. Only the "enlightened" should be in positions of power. Only the educated should vote...
Only "dissenting" views you can easily repudiate are allowed.

I agree with the rules for the most part. Next time you might want to avoid publishing them. The outrage hasn't been bad so far.
Although I abhor censorship, my employer does not and when I see the curse words up on the screen, it makes me a little nervous. Yes, I have people monitoring my every move because I work for a major brokerage firm.

It's also funny how Keith arrogantly proclaims who is the "ignorant" and "dumb" like how he states how anyone who does not believe in Lord Al Gore's Global Warming Theory is some kind of hillbilly that doesn't believe in evolution!
Keith, you are the least interesting thing about your blog. The most interesting thing about your blog is that it is a relatively open forum. If you're going to do a crackdown on posts and hold them to your ideals of "trolling", "ignorant" and "dumb" then you're going to see the discussion here become very boring and simply a gathering of Keith and his yes men.

Most are reasonable, except for the "no swearing". That's like making it illegal to use the harmonic minor-2nd in music. I enjoy the occasional use of "bad fucking language". And have contempt for folks who insist on being allergic to it. Fucking philistines.
