"I'll have a blue Christmas without you.. I'll be so blue just thinking about you"

Ill have a blue christmas without you
Ill be so blue just thinking about you
Decorations of red on a green christmas tree
Wont be the same dear, if youre not here with me

And when those blue snowflakes start falling
Thats when those blue memories start calling
Youll be doin all right, with your christmas of white
But Ill have a blue, blue blue blue christmas

The Visa/MC pics brought up an interesting point.

I have a ton of old unused CC's laying around. Either I never asked for them, or they were offering some promo that I bled to death, and then threw the CC in a drawer when the promo ran out.

The banks used to keep renewing these cards forever, even though I haven't used them in years.

Not this year. Not a week goes buy that I don't get an account cancellation notice on an old unused card. Like I care!

But, just like the housing price pendulum is going to swing way the other way before it returns to the norm. I see articles almost on a daily basis, where good responsible people, who depend on credit, are having their cards revoked, or credit severely cut back, because they fell into THIS category, or were redlined by THAT database.

I think that the hunkering down by the banks in their cutting back on
people's accounts will overshoot, and come back to bite them in the A$$.
There would be nothing wrong with that, of course, if it weren't for the fact that the FED will simply buy up the bad CC debt.

Behind every cloud there’s a silver lining. Unfortunetly, in back of that is another cloud!

Merry Christmas, Keith!

Quick post here or the wife will kill me.

The corporate terrorists have built an American economy that is unsustainable. Consume more and more at ever higher prices.

They thought it could go on forever. It couldn't. It's crashed.

Folks are now underwater on the mortgage, at their credit limit, losing their job, and cutting back on all unnecessary purchases.

Let's start arresting at least some of these corporate terrorists.

Keith and all S&A posters: Merry Christmas (and all other holiday traditions) and a happy new year!

You weirdos crack me up with your manufacturing comments. The USA is the largest manufacturer in the world. But you commie pinkos act like we have maybe three factories in the entire country.

Your ignorance makes my days brighter. I know the truth and am happy - you believe what you hear and are angry. Sucks to be you

I had to move this post forward as it is a great example of a delusional person who spends to much time with the crack pipe. Hey einstain manufacturing is 15% of the US economy and that includes the millions who build hamburgers are therefore classified by the gubermint as manufacturers.

Look around and see if you can find anything made in the US. After completeing the search struggle mightily to connect the dots.

Hey invent the magic popcicle. See how fast production begins in China. 2 dollers a day baby. They better price it cheap so they can afford it . No more money in the USA. LORDY!

There is no Al Qaeda:

There Is No 'Al Qaeda' says Ex UK Foreign Secretary

This should be obvious to anyone that there is no international organization of islamic terrorists called Al Qaeda.

The media and military industrial complex want you to believe that you are constantly under threat by this pervasive and sophisticated network of terrorists directed by leaders hiding out in caves in Afghanistan and Pakistan. All in order to justify their wars of aggression for global dominance and to secure natural resources.

9/11 was an inside job. That is the thing you should keep at the fore front of your mind for the new year because it is so vitally important. Do your research. The evidence is overwhelming and the implications are dire.

The implications are:

1) The media is complicit in this crime and this has precedent in Project Mockingbird - the CIA's program from the 60s to install agents in key positions of influence in the media.

2) The highest levels of the US military and US government use false flag attacks against the American people to achieve their objectives. Whatever your thoughts are of 9/11 the military has openly admitted that it has planned false flag attacks on the American people in the "Operation Northwoods" documents released under FOIA.

3) These criminals have more false flag attacks planned. To stop them we need mass public awareness of these crimes.

That means YOU need to do your due diligence and research 9/11. Then YOU need to inform as many people as effectively as you can and influence them to do the same.

Make that your new year's resolution.

Anon: 4pm. Go to China to see what a manufacturing economy is all about. The country is the world's manufacturer. America has done a lot to outsource / cull manufacturing although some still remains.

I'm having a GREEN Christmas this year. I have paid off all my debt, saved a few K, rented a small abode, gave minimal but nice gifts, no January bills to haunt my new year. 2009 will be interesting, for sure. I will be cutting back even further. I have accumulated everything material-wise that I will ever need. I intend to shop thrift stores for what little I do need and share food collection and preparation with family and friends. It will take a village to survive the coming hard times. I'm ready to work with that.
Happy Holidays!!

Sounds like you are dead already to us.

Do you wear a fanny pack at the mall?

Grow a pair, douche.

My wife and I decided to payoff $5,000.00 in debt for Christmas this year rather than buy gifts for everyone or ourselves. We both feel much happier this way. In addition I got a promotional transfer between two state agencies and we are celebrating that as well. I am very fortunate this Christmas.

Happy Holidays

My Christmas was not much different than previous years. I used my Mastercard/Visa/AmEx to buy gifts for family members. I even treated myself to a couple little baubles - a silver necklace with tiny diamonds and a new blackberry. And, just for a real prosperity fix, I drove through Starbucks and picked up a tall gingersnap latte - whipped cream and all. I felt high on Christmas. But, I know, bad times are here (Depression II - the sequel) and I will probably retire my credit cards and give up my lattes. ((sigh))

For the second time - the U.S. is the world's largest manufacturer. Period. Go look it up instead of saying, "Go find this"..."Go to China".

I do buy American - it is all over the place. If you buy anything more than cheap electronic crap you find USA goods everywhere.

I don't need to go to China to see a manufacturing economy - America is the world's largest manufacturer. Maybe there isn't a factory near you - they are all over the place where I live.
