Mike Norman, a now-totally-discredited hack, goes off on Peter Schiff, and calls people who agree with him cockroaches
I feel sorry for Mike Norman.
To be laid out as a fool for the whole world to see, while still trying to charge idiots for your bad advice, man, it's gotta be tough. Go work at Pizza Hut. Go sell cars. Go do anything for a living besides economic advice.
Feel free to contact Norman here. He loves the feedback evidently. Was it Tyrone who had a note back from him basically saying F off?
And of course, here's Norman's classic from 2007. You wonder if Mike Norman doesn't know that youtube exists? But hey, as he said:

Make sure you watch this video to the end to see Norman's cocky and arrogant laughing as Schiff schooled him that home price appreciation would be simply washed away. It's not being wrong that bothers me, that's fine. It's arrogance.

Mike's show on the bizradio network was canceled this week. Every now and then I listen to a few clips of his every now and then to see if he's changed. He's come around on a few things like health care and not believing the ridiculous government unemployment numbers, but he still thinks the Fed is perfect. He just can't accept the fact that banks are the biggest reason we're in this mess.
He also called Peter Schiff a cockroach
I love the original video at the end where the jerk is arrogantly scoffing at Schiff along with that Chewbacca hairdo wearing clown. How foolish would you feel right now if you were these losers who called it so wrong and mocked the guy who got it right?
Now the guy is all upset because the cockroaches are calling him out and he cherry picks a couple of the crazies emails to divert attention from his hilariously wrong predictions.

Mike Norman, Connie DeGroot, Suze Orman, Bob Brinker, Terry Savage etc.... all give the same tired advice; stick to investing for the long term and it will all be ok. Doing that will end up getting your finances wrecked, you will lose most of your hard earned fortune. I have friends who have completely bought into that philosophy, even though they are down 40% to 60%! OUCH!
It's better to think for oneself. It's better to trust your own intuition. It's better to do your own objective research and come up with your own conclusion. Most so called financial experts on Wall Street (and these are the so called best and brightest) in the end don't do better than someone who conducts a random guess.

Oh my God. We all ignored his "body of work." We totally misunderestimated this genius.
In case anyone hasn't noticed, the upside to the collapse of faux capitalism is that it had the beneficial effect of exposing the frauds and hucksters. After it was drained, the swampbed revealed Maddoff, mini-Madoff, Norman, Cramer, Fisher, half of the hedge fund managers etc.
So in a backhanded way, you have to thank Greenspan for setting the collapse in motion.
I didn't know Norman had a "body of work."? How unfair of us to judge the dickhead only on his arrogant, hyperventilating about the housing market that was dead wrong.
Once faux capitialism collapsed and the swamp water receded, we finally got to see what was living in the putrid waters: Madoff,mini Madoff, Norman, Kudlow,Cramer, Fisher, Lewis, Thane,Mozillo...to name but a few.
These frauds and hucksters would have kept on taking advantage of the gullible and brain dead but for the once every 100 years black swan shitstorm so we should be grateful that the system finally imploded.
It's funny that instead of talking smugly about how much their house appreciated, the conversation now is who got laid off(in hused tones), my 401k took a hit and have you checked out that great thrift shop. People are competing for who the title of who is more miserable.

Wow...Mike Norman is such a baby about everything. Someone should jam a pacifier in his mouth after whining that he's only on YouTube because of Peter Schiff, and that those video clips do not reflect his "body of work".
Maybe someone should tell him that he could have anonymously put up more video clips of himself if this was really a problem for him, but what must truly piss him off is that without Peter Schiff, nobody would give a shit about him at all, positively or negatively.
