Jim Cramer (finally) calls for an investigation, arrests and show trials. A "Warren Commission" for the housing panic. Nice. A bit late, but nice.

Man, we've been beating this drum since 2005.

2006 went by. Then 2007. Then 2008. And now 2009. Mozilo runs free. Mortgage fraud isn't a crime. Dodd and Frank still serve. Trillions and trillions have been lost. Lives have been ruined. Crooks have cashed in. Nobody of import has gone to jail.

And they'll wonder why people are rioting this summer?

INDEPENDENT SPECIAL PROSECUTOR OR AMERICA WILL BURN.

Enough is Enough

Since this great credit crisis began back in August of 2007, it immediately struck me that unless some rational changes to the system would intervene to prevent this grid lock effect suddenly in place, the entire economy as we knew it would substantially be altered (read implode)for the worse. This was the writing on the wall way back then, and to many of us it was clear, this would dramatically affect us all. Fast forward to today, for an estimated global wealth destruction of 40-50 Trillion and counting. The unwinding has not stopped, which is the frustrating thing, because of the late reaction and response of a deregulated society and an outgoing administration, many helpless victims lie burning in a cesspool of misery which is now known as the greatest man made rip-off ponzi game, in modern history.
Being caught in a whirlwind like some of us are in right now is not a fun place to be, not in any situation or any circumstance. In our case we were simply caught up in the wrong place, at the wrong time. I guess this sort of thing does happen even to good, responsible, smart and hard working people like us, after all anyone can get stuck by lightening . You see, prior to all of this Ponzi mania, when you took calculated risks, worked hard, and played by the rules set in place by Government and society, you were typically rewarded enough to make a buck, get by, and stay alive. A well known saying use to be that where there is risk, there is often reward. After all, this is what motivates us all…survival by making an honest buck. However in this environment no one can survive. Not Like This, Not Anymore!
What does it say about a society when you lose everything you own, or have ever worked for because cash flow, credit/debit has evaporated overnight? What does it say about a society if you suddenly take away the fabric of society, and you suddenly can’t cross the same bridges that you and everyone else use to cross, that are now being dragged down in the same “stinking” boat? If we gradually make changes in the ways the game is played, we can adjust our strategies and form counter moves to better protect and position ourselves. Why then are we protecting some who were in the wrong place and wrong time when this sudden change occurred, verse leaving others to simply die? Who gets to make these life saving decisions, and why? Dumb question, right? (See AIG, Citi Group, Indymac, Wells, BofA)...
Well let me tell you something about me, and my prospective of crossing bridges. Crossing bridges that have been in my life’s path, are my life’s passion. I have successfully crossed many of life’s proverbial bridges, and I intend to successfully cross this bridge between us as well, one way or another. Just because you want to pretend that the sudden closure of this bridge is not of eminent threat or importance to me, I want you to know that just because you are big and I am small does not mean that we can play by different rules and get away with something. This is after all a shared boat, and a shared world, and what this means is that we need to share the pain in this case. Because you are the size of Goliath, I will be called David and our differences will result in either Peaceful or War-like conclusions. I will not be intimidated or bullied by you any longer!
By punishing the hard working small business players of our society and rewarding the “To Big To Fail” Goliaths’ that created this era of financial mass destruction will surly end very badly. As the sea of unemployed, foreclosed upon, bankrupt, homeless, hungry and angry people start to unite, they quickly unite to become the new Goliath replacing the old, corrupt, “To Big To Fail” model of broken and greedy leadership.
Let us All Plan To Unite and Do Something, Anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Warren Commission"

How about a War-End Commission to investigate the MIC's fraudfest in Iraq and Afghanistan?

Great analogy there, Jimmy.

Why do you keep quoting this moron?
Because he is on tv?

Why not quote someone like Phil Grandy, from radio, who is at least entertaining and educational. He was calling this crash in the stock market and housing several years ago.
Heard it myself. He said in 07 to get out, it would crash in 08.

BUT NOOO. All I read here is this Cramer shmuck.

I could actually go either way on this one.

An independent special prosecutor would be more fair and deliver a closer approximation of justice.

But it would be nice to see Congress and the Senate get involved in a good ole fashioned with hunt against the likes of Mozillo, Chuck Prince, Ken Lewis, Chris Dodd, etc.

You know who I'd like to see head this commission though? Eliott Spitzer. Sure, the guy has a weakness for whores but he's a pit-bull when it comes to fighting corruption.

Okay, so Spitzer's not a realistic option.

How about Andrew Cuomo? This would virtually guarantee him the democratic nomination in 2012.

Check out what Alex Jones is saying at infowars.com The whole financial collapse is an "orchestrated take-down" by the global banking elite to force us into the "new world order." You can arrest all these "puppets" but the real criminals are hiding in the shadows. Any "independent" investigation will be a joke. His new film has gotten 10 million views in the first week. People are starting to "wake-up."

This site has officially jumped the shark. Using cramer as a credible reference for anything was stupid before he was publicly outed. Cramer is to finance what Michael Jackson is to child care. And your still referencing him after all that? Pathetic, Keith. Simply pathetic. I really don't know what to say. I'm kinda speechless ... it's so odd that you think he belongs anywhere on your site. Quite frankly, it says a lot about your beliefs, leanings and ideologies and unfortunately - you.

Sorry man, I've been a fan for years but I'm done.

"Everywhere has been touched and affected," he said. "Properties in the Chicago area that I sold for $410,000 a year ago now go for $120,000."

March 23, 2009. The Bush-Co/Cheney Hindenburg (whats left of it) just hit Chicago!!! HARD!!! Values Drop 75% !

NY and LA, you're next!

Damn this is great stuff!

I never thought I'd see the collapse of our Nation in my lifetime.

Thanks To ALL The Bush GOP Church Voters over the last decade! Idiots!

To the poster of the 4:19 comment about the 75% drop in Chicago real estate, I'd like to know more. Where did you get that info?

You just don't get it, do you? It doesn't matter who you vote for, the government always gets elected.

The "good" presidents get assassinated. The puppet presidents get to live another day.

Cramer has the attention of the dim-wits, no-nothings and the generally uninformed. Guess what? They outnumber the semi to well-informed 10 to 1.

So if we need mass anger, this is a necessary 'constituency', and if floppy-shoed clown man Cramer is their source of information, then what he says on this matter is important. Afterall, we need more RAGE.

Societal values are the foundation of everything. If the morals, ethics, and ideals are strong, so is the well-being of society. The cracks in the foundation were appearing right about the time of the dotcom bubble as the Nintendo and Pokemon generations came into being. Capitalism became a virtualized game with no reprucutions and gaming the system became the name of the game. You were something special with your fancy toys, gained from slick techniques such as offloading the bag of turd to your fellow citizens, which you thought were of no consequence to you. What is the value of the poor slob who toils in honest and old fashioned hard work? Laugh at him!

Think about it. Why is all of this happening now? Why didn't it happen before? Do you think the previous generations would've allowed the bankers to steal all the loot and get away with it? Do you think the president could've lied to the people the way he did in this decade? Do you think Nixon would've been impeached this decade for Watergate? So I ask why did this financial crises happen now?

We are a society of bullies who exploit other people's naivety and weaknesses.
