Senator Charles Grassley calls for AIG executives to resign or die

“The first thing that would make me feel a little bit better towards them if they’d follow the Japanese model and come before the American people and take that deep bow and say I’m sorry, and then either do one of two things — resign, or go commit suicide.”

- Senator Charles Grassley, March 16, 2009

Hate to agree with Grassley on anything but he's absolutely right about this. It amazes me that these American businessmen have no professional or personal shame.

It would be nice if he would say that about some of his fellow senators. But the thought of a lot of these corrupt people dead brings a smile to my face.

i like what i'm hearing... any other ideas?

Better yet, line all the proven guilty up and kill them publicly AFTER seizing their assets and shamimg their families.

Time for Payback.

Note to Obama:

BoJangles, they are playing you like a cheap fiddle. All confidence is Gone already. Maybe YOU should take note of Grassley's suggestion to AIG execs for some of your lesser team members.

Time for an example to be set.

The American people are not going to wait much longer for you to ACT.

...yet, your messianic hero and the rest of thieves in Congress keep on giving taxpayer money to the same banksters they complain about afterward.

I don't expect you sheeple to notice the mind game being applied here. After all, if it's not show on the dumb screen, it doesn't exist, right? Your messiah and Congress gave 190 billion in bailout and now have the nerve to fake "outrage". But it's done so the cultists and retards can feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Then comes Olbermann and his angry lesbo and The New York Pravda to make the phony "outrage" look official.

Hey, but it must be a conspiracy from my part, right? My bad, nothing of this is happening, it's all an illusion...moving on with your heads in the arse. Now retards, let's cheer the next bankster scam: PAYING CARBON TAXES TO A CENTRAL EUROPEAN BANK.

In China, they execute the executives that screw up.

Why didn't Congress/Senate ,Hank Paulson and the Feds make some reasonable requirements when they gave the loan to AIG . Trying to do this after the fact is what the problem is .

When you mnake a big huge loan without many requirements as the Feds and Treasury did ,under a emergency basis ,than you can't cray afterwords that you should of gotten rid of the corrupt system also .

I called for the fact that the Corruption should be purged before the bail out took place on many a post that I have written . Its very important in what order you do things . Instead we get crazy ideas like the fed Chairman saying that you put out the fire and than go after the cause .

Let the dam house burn down and than just put the fireman with hoses there to keep the other houses from burning down . Let the corrupt fall and only save the good .

RE: Those big, fat AIG bonus checks...

What people don't seem to understand is that those millions of dollars in bonus checks MUST be paid out.

Those bonus checks are guaranteed by a contract that was drawn up BEFORE any taxpayer bailout money was given to AIG.

The US government is very strict when it comes to enforcing contracts.

There are only two contracts that the US government fails to enforce:

The Constitution and The Bill of Rights.

Not surprised at all--typical of what I expect from the fascists in the GOP/POD (Party of Death).

Let's see--
Guns for everyone, starting with high school students. Check.
Ban cutting edge medical research. Check.
Death penalty. Check.
Back alley illegal abortions. Check.
Anti-consumer safety. Check.
Anti-environment. Check.
Against health care for all. Check.
Katrina. Check.
Pro-poverty. Check.
Now, hoping for suicides. YUP! Fits like a glove.

Mainly though, I figure republicans get really IRRITATED when they find out they aren't FIRST IN LINE TO STEAL MIDDLE CLASS TAXPAYER MONEY FOR THEIR OWN POCKET LINING.

Historically, there are documented cases of people who have committed sepukku for less serious mistakes.

If they can tax them at 100%, then they can surely write a "resign or die" law too, eh?

In a just system they would've let AIG go bankrupt. But of course this has all been part of a master plan to transfer wealth from the public to a few private hands. The plan is going fine and dandy so far.

They're not happy with billions. They want trillions.

I hear laughter in the fatcat, cigar smoke filled backrooms.

Chuck Grassley should commit suicide instead. I'm not a big fan of AIG bankers, but that trough dwelling Iowa moron has harmed America much more than any AIG exec.
