Will there be a Worldwide Summer of Rage®?

yes, but it will be one of those funny ones where people riot in their own towns and burn down small businesses. you know, the kind of riot that only hurts the rioters.

but this will be quite appropriate since they have no one to blame but themselves for electing crooks every election cycle, listening to the mainstream corporate media, and being all-around worthless consumer douchebags.

March 5 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank said he wants to see people prosecuted for wrongdoing related to the financial crisis as lawmakers overhaul regulation of Wall Street.

Frank will call on attorneys general, bank regulators and officials from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to outline plans for prosecuting and recovering funds from those responsible for the crisis, he said today at a news conference in Washington.

“What are your plans to prosecute those people whose irresponsible and, in some cases, criminal actions helped bring about this crisis?” said Frank, a Massachusetts Democrat.
______________
How the hell is Frank going to prosecute himself?!! We need an independent prosecutor to investigate each and every congressman/woman first. I suggest Chris Christie (former US Attorney for NJ)or Rudy Giuliani. The whole f*ckin thing should be called BarneyGATE.

Mother of God...what a mess we're in.

To answer your question yes, I really think so.

Anon, welcome to reality. Your wrong once again. It was both parties. It was Bush Sr. and Jr. and was Clinton and it was the failure of Republicans when they controlled Congress, and it was the fault of the Dems when they controlled Congress.

Got now we can put the stupid argument down of whose damn fault this was.

Yet, democrats cut $75 million from the budget that would fund those investigations. Poof! Gone, no questions asked. The Messiah and democrats still remain heroes to the retards.

People behave like autistic animals and live a lifestyle targeted towards financial gain vapors. They're bunch of princes and princesss.

They have no class, charisma, or integrity whatsoever. That is the future.

We don't have a financial crises. We have a integrity crises.

Summer of Rage.

It sounds hip. Count me in.

Maybe not riots but perhaps mass trampling by the cellulite zombie hordes like at the Wal-Mart in Long Island as the herd stampedes toward the trough of high-fructose corn syrup and cheese doodles

With your laser-like intellect and expert communication skills, no wonder we have become a Turd World Nation of Nothing and Serial stupid Nobodies.

Sorry Bushco, It's your fault and please no more Yale spelling and sentence construction. Put down the bottle George, no more blogging when you are drinking. Remember the Olympics last year and what an ass you made of yourself holding the flag up backwards...

Sober Up, Bush, you filthy criminal.

It could happen.

Rage is a very sophisticated emotion. Doesn't happen in LA or Las Vegas. Sorry. Look for rage abroad.

Hap-hazard, greedy, bastardly behavior happens here. Not the slightest bit sophisticated. Not thought out.

What will happen here is....every Tom, Dick and Harry will burn down their own commercial property and even residential multi-unit property and collect insurance, claiming it was burned down by the low-life bastards that raged.

We don't rage here - the best we can do here is rant.

Are you guys like the pilot I know? He just doesn't believe Obbammmyyy could be corrupt or would do anything to hurt the people. He doesn't believe the forclosure rate on homes will rise to 70 percent once inflation and 40 percent unemployment hit along with double diget interest rates. He doesn't believe paper backing commercial loans is worthless to the tune of hundreds of billions. He doesn't believe there is 600 trillion dollers of dirivatives out there that are toilet paper. Do you truly understand or are you in denial. Globalists, tell me again how stupid the poor underclass is. How they should work as slave labor. Tell me how Obbammyy will govern from the center instead of creating a communist state by destroying America no matter the pain and suffering. Tell me the evil men who destroyed the worlds future will be punished by the black one. (Not skin color). Tell me this will not end in world war. Tell me who's hands are clean. I am glad I am a man of faith. There are people who come here whose hands are clean. I wonder if they are people of faith?

Obama is laying the foundation for a civil war pitting neighbor against neighbor, state against state. How will you react when you find out your neighbor who put in an extra bathroom, bought jet skis, went to Tahiti, drives an Escalade gets a housing bailout on your tax dime?

Each month you get to stare at him enjoy that which he stole from the American public. Every month the fruits of his dishonesty pay off while the only fruits you get are paying his bills? I for one will make every neighbor who gets this bailout as miserable as possible for as long as possible.

In some cases it will get violent, count on. When someone steals from you it creates great anger, if it’s your neighbor and you know what he did with the money and now you get to watch as every month he benefits from your tax dollars, making his life better and yours worse, things are gonna get ugly.

Hmm, you must be an Obama supporter. Did you need a telepromter for that last rant.
Oh, and your ability to pick and chose from history what you want to back up your argument. Obama has been phenominal at that so far. See you think I am say this because I love Bush. Acctually I can admit he and his administration were failures. I can have and ubiased opinion of histroy and look at the whole pie and not certain peices.

Ranting like a moron won't make correct.

50,000 protesters are in Manhattan this morning... I think this summer could bring wall-to-wall rage. People are waking up from their punch drunk stupor and apprehending the fact that they're not fundamentally "employees" or "consumers" or "loan applicants" but actual, crikey, HUMAN BEINGS... L.

We have both. The real root cause of the financial crisis IMO is a lack of morality. People lied and cheated and stole and didn't care. And they still don't. That is the problem.

I wonder how bad it will have to get before that changes.

Food is a powerful motivator. Even the mentally disturbed manage to eat their lunch.

I'd have to agree whole-heartedly with the below paragraph:

Bush was a fraud and Obama is no better. I can't believe how dumb Americans are on election day.

I think there will be marches and demonstrations, and confrontations of bankers, stock brokerages, politicians, school boards, city councils, utility companies, pension boards, social services, food banks,
unemployment offices, as one by one, they become ever short of funds, and explanations, and the fuses of the frightened become shorter.

There will be lots of shouting.
For some reason I don't see outright riots as before. You know when people are deeply frightened, they tend to get quiet. Only if everything completely collapses and doors are locked wholesale, will there be that kind of thing.
But when lights are off because stores are empty, etc, vandalism will be common. Malls will become impromptu bartering areas; people will set up and trade and how they can.
