April 2, 2009

The new American president is smart, grounded, regular, introspective, respected and confident. And the last American president was a f*cking idiot.

I know many of you hate the fact that I support Obama. And you don't understand it. But I told you in 2006 that he'd win, I told you why, and I told you why I support him (with reservations)

I hope you watch his G20 presser today. Yet another tour de force.

You are lucky to live in a day with an American president who doesn't have his head up his ass, or his **** in an intern.

After 50 years of evil, corrupt and incompetent American presidents, I totally understand why most of you are predispositioned to thinking, oh, here's another one. I was in that camp too. 50 years is a long, long time. And America through its leaders has done evil, and has shamed itself before the world, for all to see.

But for those of you with an open mind, America has now been relaunched to the world, and it's going pretty good. Especially compared to Bush or Palin. Obama has inherited the worst mess of any president in the history of the United States, I think that is now a given. And those of you who blame him for the world's problems are just not dealing with reality.

I don't give Obama a free pass. It sickens me that he hasn't named an Independent Special Prosecutor, and that Angelo Mozilo isn't in jail. And I want Obama to stick it to the unions, to Pelosi, Reid, Dodd and Frank. Or better yet jail them.

But I'm calling it like I see it.

Barack Obama will go down as one of the greatest presidents in American history. After what was without question the Worst President in US History.

Think about what President Palin would have meant.

Think about how bad America needs a great President right now.

Don't support him carte blanche. Don't support the Dems or the Reps.

But I hope you see by now, this man is good.

I hope they don't do him too.
But I suspect they will.

I think President Erkel will be a one term president and won't be anywhere close to going down as one of the best ever. All of his appointees have failed to pay their taxes or are part of the group who created this problem. He is flooding the system with way too much borrowed money and is a lap dog to the large banks. Not only is BO hosed, but so is the entire population of the US.

Having Obama president is like having the guy who works at the local 7-11 as president. No more sons of presidents. No more dudes from Goldman Sachs.

Something has changed.

Obama is a regular guy. Someone who was broke and an outcast just a few years ago.

That said, he is working with evil. Pelosi, Reid, Frank, Bohner and Kantor are evil. Dealing with the aftermath of Bush, Cheney, Gonzales, Rumsfeld, Miers and Paulson is dealing with evil.

And that's why I don't think Obama will make it.

But I support him. He's taking on GM and Chrysler and the unions. He's withdrawing from Iraq. He's taking on entitlements. He's raising taxes on the rich while lowering taxes on the middle class. And yes, he's spending trillions to get out of Bush's mess. Which sucks. But a trillion is nothing compared to to the $52 trillion we were on the hook for before he started.

And f*ck, the dude is smart. Just listen to that presser. Tour de force. Total tour de force.

Next step will be arresting the guilty. Nothing is as important as that. And after that it'll be taking on social security, medicare and the unions.

People hated Lincoln and Washington and Truman and Kennedy too.

And 51% of the idiots in America voted for Bush.

I agree 100% After the last 8 years we need a smart President. We need not to hate science. We need to fund stem cell research. We need to use diplomacy. We need to stop with the trickle down myth. We need to focus on alternative energy. We need a justice department that acts with integrity. We need to be respected around the world again.

Anyone who does not think Obama is 10000 times better than McPalin is a stone cold idiot.

Are you f-ing kidding me. Obama talks pretty because HE IS A LIAR. It's easy for someone who doesn't believe anything he's saying to sound great and say the right things.

Man are you going to be disappointed.

By the way, I happen to know Obama - I am good friends with people who ran his campaigns in IL and I've met him many times when he was hitting the banking circuit in NY from 2003 shilling for dollars to support his run for Senate and then President. And, I don't mean in large scrums of 2000 people - I mean at small dinners at Soros' and others' homes. The man is smart - so are all the guys who bankrupted this country and ruined the world - and like them he's shallow, interested only in his own self-promotion and his own wealth. He'll break your heart Keith, just like all the others whose necks he stepped on to get where he is.

Great con artists always can talk a good game. And, Obama is one of the best.

Plus - what in the world is the "broke and and outcast" a few years ago. Do you really even know anything about Obama that you haven't dreamt or been told by his campaign website. He comes from a very well-off family who traveled the world when he was a child. He got a book writing advance after he graduated from law school that allowed him to go to Bali for 3 months to write! Bali! For 3 months! Paid for!

He was a "community organizer" for a nanosecond and even if he didn't make a lot, his wife was an associate in a lawfirm. Them salaries ain't peanuts. She then got a job earning $300,000 a year as some kind of hospital adminstrator while he was a part time state senator. Them ain't peanuts either. That wasn't paid in pesos.

Besides, a "few years ago," the man had raised almost $100 million through his exploratory organization even before he officially ran for president. In what alternate universe does that translate into "broke and an outcast" Of course, we'll never know where a lot of that money came from because his "tightly run" campaign didn't keep very good records and the FEC decided it didn't want to audit his campaign. But, I certainly know for a fact that Soros, Blankfein, Dimon, Chuck Prince and Sandy Weil were huge backers of his - brought to him in large part by Chris Dodd, Lieberman, Schumer and other corrupt Senators. That's an "outcast??!!" What are you smoking?

I've read you in the past not because I thought you were any more prescient than anyone else or could see the future, but because your analysis made sense based on economic fundamentals. Anyone could tell as well that Obama was going to win - the DNC basically turned itself inside out to push him over the finish line in the primaries - completely corruptly, I might add. And, he would have had to kill someone live on tv to lose to McCain. So, you're no great seer to state that he was going to win.

But, now you're analysis is making no sense. Just because he says something prettily, you think that his mere words will conjure up actual good behavior and smart decisions. Things aren't going well - they are falling apart and the center doesn't hold.

I was just at a meeting at the white house the other day and they are sleep-deprived, overwhelmed and completely buffeted back and forth by bad advice from all sides. Obama usually goes with whatever he hears from the last person he talks to, because that takes the least energy.

I didn't vote for Bush and told everyone I knew when he was runing in 2000 that he would be a disaster. That the presidency was an actual job, not some head of state figurehead - that we needed someone who actually knew how to manage to run the executive branch. My friends who voted for Nadar could have cared less, and my friends who voted for Bush believed the lies that came out of his mouth too. (Yes, back then, he actually did sway a number of people with pretty speeches too - people liked his aw-shucks manner and his compassionate conservative bs).

I wish you could step back a bit, Keith and really see that the only thing you've been clinging to about Obama is what he SAYS. Even you have declared yourself disappointed by what he DOES. Or, DOESN'T do. I will be waiting for you to come back to your senses soon.

keith you have to be kidding. that idiot is a embarrassment to this country. he gave the Queen of the United Kingdom, a freekin ipod for crying out loud. what a disgusting situation and his idiotic aunt jemima wife of his hugged the freeking queen. this is a total violation of official protocol. when are you going to quit supporting this dope and his baboon wife?

also nothing has changed. what makes you think something has changed. he was chosen to be president a long time ago when he was noticed somewhere , sometime. and so he was put forward in public service, etc, so that he would be ready when his time had come. so his time came and now he is president. just think about it keith. a few years ago, nobody outside of chicago had even heard of this guy. but all of a sudden, he is now president. do you think things like that happen by accident? do you think this country will be helped by this man? i think not. this is what is real keith. if he was all that you say he is, he would not be president. it is just that simple. because if he was the man you think he is, he would try to help us because he was a patriot and loved his country, but he is not and he does not love this country. he is a tool and if he was anything else he would not be president and also if the day comes keith, that somehow he has a change of heart about what it is , he is supposed to be, either one of two things will happen. he will either be assassinated or he will be voted out of office or thrown out, like nixon was. let me ask you something keith. why was nixon thrown out of office? was it watergate? was it really? are you sure? why was kennedy shot? why was any president of the united states shot? anytime a president does something that certain powerful jews don't like he is eliminated one way or the other. the motto of the mossad.....by Way of Deception, thou shalt do War.........

everything you see, is not what it appears to be.....believe me or not, that is up to you......

and so, my country is dying and nobody cares........

I think you'll find that the 51% takes "conservatism" more seriously than the candidate they voted for. I'm certainly one of those. I will vote for the man who closest to being a fiscal conservative. Obama is a million miles from that neighborhood. Intelligence is not a respectable trade for freedom from big government. The man is indeed a communist. His tour de force is a reaffirmation in the fallacy that one can spend his way out of a debt crisis. That makes him a fool.

Paul E. Math said...

It's unfortunate. If times were otherwise I think he would have made a great president.

But the issues we face are going to be too much for this poor guy.

And his hands are tied as to the solutions he can implement anyway. Obama couldn't adopt responsible policies even if he wanted.

The only solutions that anyone will except, both the elected and the electorate, are inflationary ones.

And that is why we fail.

No Keith, it's like having a guy whose brother robs the local 7-11 for president. I had a LOL moment today when Il Douche addressed the Press in London and reminded us that he is "President of the United States", and then he went on (and on) to state that he was NOT the president of Russia, China, blah, blah, blah. Can you believe this shit? Will somebody please give the guy a name tag that says "PRESIDENT" in glowing LED letters so he won't have to keep reminding us of his title?

Leadership requires more than a nicotine voice and a Harvard degree. Obama doesn't have a clue about what it takes to effect real change and lead men.

"Having Obama president is like having the guy who works at the local 7-11 as president."

I'd spent my first two years of college at Columbia University and let me tell you, every idealistic humanitarian or scientist who arrives there... within two years, turns into another prelaw, premed, or pre-investment banking/management consulting group think person. Interesting to note, 25% of every Columbia graduating class attends law school, with half of them attending top tier JD programs (i.e. Columbia, NYU, Harvard, Chicago, London, and so on). B.O. is not some 7-11 guy, he's a convertee, a smooth talking player who's greased the wheels of politics, starting from Columbia and using that for Harvard Law and then politics, directly afterwards. BTW, did I tell you that a lot of Columbians do something like this?

One of the reasons why I'd gone for a cheaper alternative than doing my full four years there was that one, I didn't see myself as a lawyer [ so I didn't see the need to be around the Toaster Oven {nickname for the law building and the political social clubs based around it} and two, the fact that the predominant corporate recruiters were Citicorp, Bain, and Goldman for the best graduates, instead of Dow, Pratt/Whitney, etc made the place very one dimensional when you looked outside the actual curriculum and all the faux talk/jibjab about liberalism. I wanted to work in a normal career track and for that, Columbia didn't offer anything which wasn't offered elsewhere, for less than half the price.

Rewarding bank maggots. Continuing the endless wars. Refusing to release info about America's torture program. Doing nothing to start socialised health care for every American. Basically, continuing to do what realPresident Cheney did, while putting an intelligent, friendly face on it.

If I was in a room with Obama and Bush, holding a pistol with one bullet in it, no question about what the outcome would be. But then I'd turn to Obama and say "Someday you'll be in this room with your successor and a citizen in a similar situation. Learn from it."

It might be a "tour de force" in the realm of socialist dictators but those of us that believe in liberty and the Constitution and small government are outraged by this level of stupidity and ignorance.

What side do you stand on Keith? Are you for the traditional American values of liberty, small government and the rule of Constitutional law? Or are you just another "do what feels right" socialist assclown?

Bush was a joke yes but that doesn't make Obama a good thing at all.

What has Obama done that you support? This guy is a sheister and delivering "tour de force" speeches doesn't mean jack squat if their content is full of falsehoods and lies or is not backed up by meaningful action.

So now Obama is a regular guy? You mean like Palin, who BTW was not running for President? I thought that was a problem to not be worldy before. Now I guess this embarrassment below is "an honest mistake anyone could make". Face it, Keith, "your" President is a dolt and a fraud.

"If you loved the return of the Churchill bust and the Gordon Brown parting gift of 25 DVDs found at your local Wal-Mart, you’ll be tickled pink to hear of the latest adventures of the Man Who Will Make the World Love Us™.

The Wall Street Journal has the details of President Obama referring to our special relationship with England, momentarily breaking a rule of protocol by neglecting to refer to the United Kingdom instead, leaving Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland out of the equation. Sure, just one mixed-up reference, not that big of a deal, right? And Bush was such an idiot, right? It’s still going to raise a few eyebrows across the pond, as it equates to a British leader speaking of their special relationship with Texas.

Although it’s not really a foreign policy gaffe, the media team also blundered by scheduling the President’s only open event at 5 in the morning when no one is watching, as well as denying media access to important events like first-time bilateral chats with foreign leaders, offering instead brief canned remarks. Sure, not that big of a deal, right, except when this is the President’s first major overseas conference, you might want to be a little more savvy with how it plays back home.

But that’s not even the icing on the cake. Besides the meetings with the heads of Australia and Canada, both members of the British Commonwealth. President Obama is only other leader granted an audience with the Queen. Protocol is to be strictly observed, and the Queen has found it important to find the time to meet with most of our recent Commanders in Chief. So what gift did our world-wise President deem wise to give to this regal ceremonial head of state?

An iPod.

And apparently she already has one. I couldn’t make this up if I tried. As MM says, Dohbama strikes again. Yeah, I know the Queen also got some songbook as well. That doesn’t take away from the sheer tackiness of the gift, and compounds the previous DVD and bust blunders. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry."

But put yourself in his shoes. You're president. What would you do? Watch the world burn, or try to fix the clusterf*ck left to you by your predecessor?

If you're a hater, you'll likely remain a hater. That's cool. Is what it is.

But I'm open to the idea that America may have (finally) elected a good one. First time in a generation.

But he won't be a great one unless he does one thing first:

BO is regular! He doesn't save anything just like most Americans. IMO if he came here he would disagree with most of the sentiment. Hoard cash, food, and ammo? Nah, Idol's on!

"The Obamas' tax returns also show they had little in savings during the same period. They reported no dividends or capital gains over the five years and reported $33 in taxable interest, all of which was received in 2002."

The man is steered at the whim of whoever is talking at the time. I would say that's pretty regular, since most people, even a lot of the posters here, don't bother to look up facts for themselves.

"At a news conference in London, a reporter from the Sun newspaper asked Obama whether he had a good luck message for the English team - who faces the Ukraine Wednesday evening in a World Cup qualifying match.

Noting that he did not receive a briefing about the match..."

Pheenix11 said...

He will never arrest Mozilo. They have screwed the American people out of 12.8 trillion dollars, half of which is on Obama's head. Yes, he was a part of it. He was in the senate from 2005 to 2008. Did you forget that?

Many members of his administration either profited from or helped cause the mess.

"But put yourself in his shoes. You're president. What would you do? Watch the world burn, or try to fix the clusterf*ck left to you by your predecessor?"

When has central planning ever worked? The world needs to burn because we need to clear the excesses out of the system. Rewarding bad behavior is not a long term fix.

Borrowing and spending to buy plasmas, hummers, and stucco sh!tboxes are what got us into this mess. Borrowing and spending even more isn't going to get us out of it.

F*ck keith. Have you not learned ANYTHING from this mess? Did you forget your past libertarian principles? Did you forget what Ron Paul, Peter Schiff, and Gerald Celente have said?

Oh, and keith, saying "bush was the worst president" isn't a refutation of the criticism of obama. Yes, bush was terrible. McSame probably would have been terrible too. So far, Obama's been terrible.

Anonymous said...

But put yourself in his shoes. You're president. What would you do? Watch the world burn, or try to fix the clusterf*ck left to you by your predecessor?<<<

that's just it keith. it can't be fixed. it is over pal. can't you see that? all this talking and moving around means nothing. trillions upon trillions upon trillions. what does it all mean keith? where is this going ? what is the title to this blog. soot and ashes.........what does this mean?
the economic system of the world keith is now soot and ashes. no amount of talking. no amount of discussion. no amount of political maneuvering, will change any of this. we are witnessing the epic change to the consumer society. the consumer is dead. credit is dead. the dollar will soon be dead. what is left? real money.....what is real money? what does it say in our constitution? the founding fathers knew the bankers and knew them well. why would they take the time to put anything about gold and silver in our constitution? because they saw what the bankers did to europe and by God, they wanted to try and make it different here. but now look at us. we jus don't learn do we? we would make them sick to their stomachs if they could see us now.

as KRIS KRISTOFFERSON sung in his song... LORD HELP ME JESUS

Why me Lord
What have I ever done to deserve even one,
Of the pleasures I've known
Tell me Lord,
What did I ever do that was worth loving you,
For the kindness you've shown.
Lord help me Jesus I've wasted it so,
Help me Jesus, I know what I am.
But now that I know that I've needed you so,
Help me Jesus my soul's in your hands.
Try me Lord,
If you think there's a way I can try to repay,
All I've taken from you.
Maybe Lord,
I can show someone else what I've been through myself,
On my way back to you.
Lord help me Jesus I've wasted it so,
Help me Jesus, I know what I am.
But now that I know that I've needed you so,
Help me Jesus my soul's in your hands.
Lord help me Jesus I've wasted it so,
Help me Jesus, I know what I am.
But now that I know that I've needed you so,
Help me Jesus my soul's in your hands.

Jesus my soul's in your hands.

keith, we have wasted it.....and it is almost gone now. our country is dying and nobody cares........

Do you really honestly believe he'll arrest Mozillo or anyone else for that matter? He's bought and paid for and doesnt want to make waves. If he did start arresting criminals instead of changing the rules to cover their mistakes I'd worship the ground he walked on and declare him a savior but if you really honestly believe that you will be admitting defeat in 3 1/2 years when he loses his reelection.

I've said it before and i will continue to say it: until America elects someone who has built and/or run a large business we are in serious trouble. You just cant keep spending money we dont have an our "community organizer" doesnt seem to understand that.

common keith, europe like obama because he is giving in to them.

he promised during the campaign he would use his godly powers of diplomacy to get europe (nato allies) to send more troops to Afghanistan.

Well, he asked and they said no. what did BO do? He said, ok, no problem. No wonder they like him.

a real president would have told germany if they didn't send more troops we would close our bases in germany down.

what about BO's promise of not raising ANY taxes on those making less than (200k or was it 250k)?

well, they are about to increase taxes on smokers who are predominantly not those making more than 200k (or was it 250k) a year.

don't get me started on the cap and trade, which is essentially a huge energy tax on the working class.

Answer me this - did Obama cause this mess? Yes or no?

-----------------------------

dude! he was in congress for two of those 8 years, so yes, he did contribute to it.

I agree that Obama is the real deal, but it's obvious that he's being severely constrained by his handlers.

If and when he decides to shake off the Goldman fleas, he can make the necessary changes to bring about a sound financial system.

But, that course of action will put his life at risk.

He's smart enough to pick the time and place to initiate that battle.

Yeah, Obama is a great talker, but also a good liar. All he cares about is giving trillions to his rich friends on Wall St., the ones who bankrolled his campaign. At least you could see what Bush was up to, because he was too inept to hide it. Obama is just the second act in the greatest heist of all time, but he manages to pull the wool over everyone's eyes, including yours, Keith.

He will be a one term president. Mark my words....ONE TERM.

Keith,

I guess you must be in Amsterdam because you sound like you are on some fanstastic shit my friend.

Obama's financial policies are ruinous. He will drive the US into the same class structure as many South American countries. He's trying to spread this to the world. Is that what you want?

He keeps talking about taxing the rich but this is pushed out to 2011. Wait and see- everyone will get taxed or the increases will never happen as someone new gets elected and then we implode with the crushing levels of gov't debt.

We are all collectively screwing our children and grandchildren, is there anything cool with that?

I'm certain we are at peak population now and these finacial thrashing are a sign of this. Obama is the puppet and you fell for it. Shame on you, Keith. Same guy making fun of creationism (correctly) can't see that he's just a puppet reading from a teleprompter.

Think about it some more and tell us you changed your mind. We will all be cool with you.

I'm not bashing Obama (just like I don't bash on a sock puppet from pets.com) but I'm challenging your unwavering support of a puppet. Amicably of course!

Keith,

This is just the first inning.

We're 3 months into 2009 amd the Fed Reserve has to start buying Treasuries because there is no one else to buy them. Who is going to finance our yearly $1 trillion plus deficits over the next 10 years?

Geitner's toxic asset buyout plan is reason enough to call Obama a failure. Obama is swindling Americans. He is either stupid or corrupt.

Honestly, if BofA/Countrywide/MerrilLynch were to go under, will the rest of America go down with it? I don't think so. And most of the bank ceo's at the banker's convention didn't think so either.

I'm starting to wonder if his stimulus plan is simply trying to postpone this depression on to the next president.

If I was in a room with Obama and Bush, holding a pistol with one bullet in it, no question about what the outcome would be. But then I'd turn to Obama and say "Someday you'll be in this room with your successor and a citizen in a similar situation. Learn from it."

Watched the video in entirety. Funny how the Q&A alternates between his planted questions (even ending on one) followed by unscripted questions. Actually he did an effective job with this approach.

He can speak well to many situations around the world and is in a different league than Bush & Palin. However he made a fatal mistake in trusting Bernanke, Geithner and Paulson before that. He is either part of the machine or naive. Given his appearance to come across as intelligent, I vote for part of the machine.

You've got one fine puppet there, Mister.

He must have sold out long ago. With a story that reads like a Hollywood script.

"If and when he decides to shake off the Goldman fleas, he can make the necessary changes to bring about a sound financial system."

When will you people get it? He's a child of the ivy tradition but one of their 'diversity' cases which BTW, doesn't include peoples of Soviet or any Asian origin because those people aren't considered in the diversity index in admissions recruiting circles.

The insiders nickname of Citibank, during the 90s, was Columbia Bank. And guess why that was the case? Because a vast majority of their corporate new recruits had come from Columbia Univ as well as alumni.

There's this weirdness, in this country, that the people who attend a Columbia and then let's say a Harvard or Yale Law school are simply bookworms or really bright people. It's really less common than you think because a normal person, as described above, would simply be stuck being a junior associate, working 80 hrs to be recognized in his firm later.

Many of the ivy fast trackers either have connections or have developed them through various committees a/o cliques out there. That's why you'll see these familial (& pedigree) cronies at places like Nomura Securities or Booz-Allen Hamilton because in a sense, they hire alike people. A normal guy, who attends let's say Indiana State (& then their law school) and then later runs for President at a young age of 47 is highly unlikely.

"I've said it before and i will continue to say it: until America elects someone who has built and/or run a large business we are in serious trouble."

'Tis true, Ross Perot was the first candidate who'd embodied that idea but failed to capitulate.

What we need is a Ross Perot type, not a management consultant (see Romney), who'd essentially been a successful governor for two terms.

So sad.

By the way, as lil'bush was leaving I thought of how the very least damage that meandering fuckwad did was to have the courage of somebody else's convictions.
ManBearPig and Lurch would have fucked us because they think they believe what they are saying.
The danger this time is that Alfred E. Obama might actually begin to 'use' the drugs he's been pushing.
And believe that he is anything more than a token.

Keith,

How many regular guys start their career at Kissenger Associates? You are dreaming if you think Obama is a regular guy.

Yes, he is a good reader of teleprompters . . . just like a news anchor person, good at reading a script of lies. How can this debt mess be solved with even more debt? It doesn't. All that's happening is the looting of the 99.99% of the population to enrich that top 0.001%, or roughly the 30,000 people at the top who are directly plugged into the looting machine.
