A politically incorrect pamphlet hitting on all the unspeakable stuff: Politics. Economics. Fiscal Policy. Foreign Policy. Moral Issues. Culture. Investments. Religion. Humor. Life.
You can't run 10+% budget deficits as percent of GDP for too long before something breaks. Most likely the currency will be the victim. Damn, I wish the good old days of GWB back. Prosperous Ponzi schemes everywhere, a few unprovoked wars and a bit of torture thrown in for good measure. Back in the days we thought that $700 billion for the Iraq war was a lot of money. That was peanuts compared to what Obama and his gang of thieves are pulling off. Running as the "Good Guy" looking out for the people. Taking their campaign donations and as soon as he's in power selling them out to the bankers. Looks like we got us a real sociopath there....not that McCain/Palin would have been much better. We probably would have started a few more wars by now to stimulate the ecomomy.
Well, even though 700 billion is from bush, the remaining 1.1 trillion is pure BO..and that's just to start. His budgets for the next ten years will add 10 trillion to our debt, more than doubling it.And this doesn't even include his healthcare program, which will add trillions more. His 1.1 trillion in three months is more than the total cost of the Iraq war over six years.
No doubt the American people will have buyers remorse soon. Keith, if you don't have this feeling already then hopefully you will soon...
Classic GOP move...blame the democrat b/c of course you did nothing wrong, never...whine, whine, wah, wah, wah...poor old republicans, all you wanted to do was deregulate everything and live in the land of Darwinistic Capitalism, where anything goes but please save our asses if we really fuck up, thank God we got rich but now we need to be saved by Govt welfare, screw the real people that need welfare...thanks motherfuckers..oh, and by the way, the Banana Republic started in 2001 and Obama just trying to pick up the pieces, piss ant.
Hey BG, did you flunk your 6th grade civics class? Presidents don't spend money, it takes a vote of Congress (at least until Obama repeals that inconvenience) to get it done. Last time I checked, some asshole Democrat named Pelosi was Speaker of the House, and a dick-wipe Mormon named Reid was the Democrat leader of the Senate. They've been running things for quite a while now, but idiots like you still insist it's all GWB's fault.
Bush is certainly not blameless in this mess, but your Democrat buddies in the House could have said "no" at any time and stopped him cold.
“Much of the costs for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have not been funded through regular appropriations bills, but through emergency supplemental appropriations bills. Some budget experts argue that emergency supplemental appropriations bills do not receive the same level of legislative care as regular appropriations bills. In addition, emergency supplemental appropriations are not subject to the same budget enforcement mechanisms imposed on regular appropriations.” “In principle, the Department of Defense (DoD) separates war funding from base funding. In most cases, however, funds for operations in Iraq and Afghanistan use the same accounts as other DoD accounts. This raises challenges to attempts to achieve a precise separation of expenditures on operations in Iraq and Afghanistan from the base defense operations.” Republicans held a majority in Congress from the 1994 “Republican Revolution” until 2006. With Clinton in office spending was kept in check and he ended his presidency with a surplus. Then lo and behold, Bushie/Cheney steal the election and the Republicans get total domination and watch out, deficit grows leaps and bonds, spending like drunken sailors on a binge (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Deficits_vs._Debt_Increases_-_2008.png). They weren’t even including the spending in Iraq, a hapless, needless war. Now, Obama’s in office, trying to pick through the wreckage, trying to salvage an economy, spending to provide life support and somehow, it’s his fault? What drugs are you Republicans on? The GOP lost its soul a long time ago. The GOP has been full of crap for a long time. Just shut up and let others pick up the pieces and try to put humpty dumpty back together again. The GOP has lost its credibility, it’s gone. History will not be kind. By the way, I am a registered Independent, so screw you and stay out of my body, my sexuality, my home, my soul and my face. The Dems have a lot to be ashamed of but the Republicans have been evil incarnate and the biggest, most flagrant hypocrites ever in the history of our country. Despicable.
I wonder if this is all just a well executed plan to get more people to enlist for the Imperial Army; crater the economy, kill employment options for young people..
Borrowing 50 cents for every dollar spent. That's a banana republic budget, pure and simple. Soon, Uncle Sam will join the parade of bad credit risks. Then the real fun begins.

There's no way this story ends without a devalued dollar.

Oh boy... You´re sooo screwed...
That's $6,000 per person
I'd rather have had the cash
Did we have a hostage crisis?
Don't get up gentlemen, I'm only testing my new blogger photo.
I'm having fun...
and that is with optimistic forecasts for 3.9% growth by the end of the year.
which would be huge given that we have negative growth for the first part of the year.
but it doesn't matter as it is all bush's fault.
Give BO a chance! he will fix the deficit by spending even more, yea, that's the ticket!
50% of every dollar BO is spending is borrowed.

Coming soon, to a fiscally mismanaged government near you...
State and federal agency infighting and cutthroat competition for dwindling funding.
The 'war' for bureaucratic survival.
Taking it to the limit one last time!
But Obama went to great lengths to cut just $17 billion from the budget.
How is this guy ever gonna rein in the $1 trillion in additional spending?
only 539K jobs loss..signs of turn around!!!!
(the fed hired 80K...that's the part they DON'T want you to know)
merkians are stupid.
BG == Boy George?
