Ron Paul's son announces run for the Senate

Hate to see this nepotism stuff, but Rand Paul's looking pretty good. And think about it - a Republican announcing his run on the ultra-left Rachel Maddow show. And getting a respectful response. It's almost like the Dems want a foil - a Frazier to Ali. A Nadal to Federer.

You want to see how the GOP comes back? They cast off the ultra-right wing idiots, and come to the libertarian center.

We know now that Ron Paul is too old, too timid, too meek. He whined when he should have shouted. And he simply doesn't have the fire in his belly.

Let's see if his son can do better.

I'm not a fan of these family dynasties either. This is a nation of 300 million people for God's sake!! Where are all the other educated, red-blooded true patriots out there??!! Why aren't they running for office? Why do we always end up with these establishment backed and controlled cronies like Bush and Obama?

Here's a good article from Mike Whitney who was rabidly anti-Bush during the Bush years, was pro-Obama during Obama's run for presidency and is now seeing the man behind the mask.

Mike Whitney: Obama Takes Off Where Bush Left Off.

So now even the Left is seeing Obama for who he really is (or who he's really not) and seeing that he really is just another puppet in the corporate Wall Street controlled federal government of the USSA.

These politicians metasticize worse than any cancer.

Why would anyone want to go into such a shameful and dispicable trade?

America is DEAD.

Perhaps the combination of the wisdom from the old man and the energy from the young man will get some traction. I believe that Ron Paul did the best he could given the circumstances. Remember an old Winston Churchill quote: The best argument against democracy is a 5 minute conversation with the average voter. That rule applies today as far as I can tell. The representatation that this country receives mirrors the moods and values of the general population in parallel terms.

Nice to see some integrity/loyalty toward Bunning; I have considerable goodwill toward Shelby/Sessions for opposing the bailout as well.

You know it cost them dearly to do that.

George W. Bush sounded pretty good way back in 2000 when he was running for office too.

But we know how that turned out :-(
