GOP dinosaur Lindsay Graham mocking Ron Paul: "We're not gonna build a party around Libertarian ideas. Ron Paul is not the leader of this party"

Oh yeah?

What are you gonna build it around Lindsay?

Wingnut right wing fundamentalist whackos?

Hate, discrimination, ignorance, incompetence and corruption?

I think you maxed that business model out at 22%.

If Ron Paul is going to make a difference, he needs to tear down his party, and rebuild it on libertarian values. And show poodles like Lindsay Graham the door.

Gallup: GOP Losses Span Nearly All Demographic Groups = Only frequent churchgoers show no decline in support since 2001

PRINCETON, NJ -- The decline in Republican Party affiliation among Americans in recent years is well documented, but a Gallup analysis now shows that this movement away from the GOP has occurred among nearly every major demographic subgroup.

Since the first year of George W. Bush's presidency in 2001, the Republican Party has maintained its support only among frequent churchgoers, with conservatives and senior citizens showing minimal decline.

Damn, we're one step away!

Enjoy retirement, Lindsay!

Hate-filled right wing nutcase fundamentalism has zero chance of attracting young people to the party

Compare that to a Ron Paul crowd. A sea of young people.

Ron Paul is a gift to the GOP. It's up to them to figure that out, or die.

I think they're choosing "or die".

South Carolina Governor, Mark Sanford (R) disagrees directly with Lindsay Graham.

Their Dream: A return to Dixie.

Ron's Dream: A return to 1776.

Didn't we already fight the First Civil War over this?

Once it becomes obvious that deficit spending didn't end the depression, the republicans will return to fiscal conservatism - and so will the people

How about building a political party around gay guys in the closet like Larry Craig and Mitch McConnell and that Senator from South Carolina... what was his name? Oh yeah -- Lindsay Graham!

C'mon, Republicans -- there's no shame in being gay. Just admit to it. Be like Barney Frank. He might be a bumbler, but at least he's honest about sex. Must you Goopers lie about EVERYTHING?

Debt-o, you tickle me pink! I am amused by your ravings. Are you familiar with the psychological term "projection"? It means that what you say about others is actually what you think about YOURSELF. I can see that at work with your mind, mate.

Do me a favour -- post a mailing address here -- you must have someplace neutral, like where you work or a P.O. Box -- so I can send you a postcard from Hawaii next week. You're worth a stamp to me, bro! I'd like you to share a bit of the great times I'm having, since you'll never have it that good yourself.

Yes, they are in disarray.

But why not use a little more critical thinking about the policies of the party in power?

Obama is outdoing Bush on bailouts and generational theft, but you cheer him on because he's a D.

"...What are you gonna build it around Lindsay?..."

Same thing it's always been about: servicing the campaign financiers.

Just need to conceal the contempt for citizens coursing through both parties, until the blame for our denouement is firmly fixed back on the Democrats.

"...If you don't like that, go somewhere else..."

Well put, Senator.

GOP is DEAD.

Good Riddance.

Why not try white sheets and hats boys? What else do you have to lose?

Ron Paul advocates fiscal sanity.

Lindsay Graham is a tool of the MIC.

The MIC promotes fiscal insanity through its fear-mongering campaign entitled: 'The Global War on Terrorism.'

Thus, Lindsay Graham represents and promotes self-destructive fiscal policies, and ever-expanding 'defense' budget.

The contrast between these two factions of the GOP is stark and the divide is deep.

There will be no conciliation.

And there will be no fiscal sanity until the MIC relinquishes its stranglehold on our two dominant political parties.

Or, until we dismantle the corrupt political infrastructure that sustains it.

Lindsay Graham is a scourge on the GOP. He is a prime example of why the GOP is so out of fashion. He's the biggest nerd they have and his politics epitomize why people see no difference between the 2 parties anymore. How many people out there can rally around hard line Pro-Life, perpetual war, and big intrusive government telling you how to run your life? Apparently 22% of us think that's the way it should be. I say shame on them! I am a small, limited government type as I believe most Americans are. That said, if we're gonna have Big Government it should at least be for the benefit of the People. Grahams neo"conservatism" provides many of the negatives of socialism without any of the benefits.

Graham, Bush, and their ilk are the past. If the GOP hopes to have a future they need to purge they party of him and others like him. They need to become the party of Jefferson again by building a platform around Ron Paul's ideas. It worked for Reagan.

The Nixonian neo"conservatives" like Graham need to go.

Why are Republican males so feminine? Weird thing....Graham, Bush, Rove, etc. sound like lispy girls when they speak.

{guffaw}

The bad news: all that is left are the haters, bible-thumpers, bitter gun-clingers, and deluded rubes who think we're the party of small government...

The good news: That's most of the cuntry. After a brief temper tantrum, we'll blame this disaster on the Dems(who certainly deserve 50% of it), and it's off to the races again.

STFU Lindsey

Ron Paul is the leader of the Republican Party. Libertarians in the party should stand their ground and kick losers like you out without a second thought.

The Libertarian Republicans aren't going anywhere, loser Lindsey

Oddly, it was the embrace of the crazed free-market capitalism that has caused so many problems here, and in Europe. The fact that "socialist in name only" governments were in charge during this reckless, irresponsible period is what has led them astray. The Bush years were a bastard child of all the worst of big-government spending, married to laissez-faire regulation of "Too Big To Fail" business.

Meanwhile, up in Scandinavia, the citizens of Denmark, Sweden and Norway enjoy the highest standard of living, while the dimwits who bought into the "Free Market Rules All - It's Magical Sparkleponyland!" in Iceland, are seeing their entire country implode.

Look past the labels to the underlying causes and issues.

As much as I "HATE" seeing this, it is soooo true. Ron Paul, as much as I love him, just doesn't have any fire in his belly. A great message with great meaning and all, but no delivery punch. Now if someone was capable of bringing Ron Paul's message with vigor to the table they could and most probably would head the party IMHO!!!

Palin??? Jury still out, but the "Best" that I have seen to date...

REAL-HONEST-TRUE-VALUE

Tough to get better so we shall see...

I finally watched this one, Keith. (Had to wait until I was home. Work computers block YouTube so we don't waste too much time -- what a concept!) What a pathetic excuse for a politician -- telling people "Get out of our party! If you're not 100% in lockstep with our cult ideology, then leave!" Gee, Lindsay, ya think that's why your faction is at 22%?

And saying "My favourite Bible verse -- well, it's not in the Bible -- is the 11th Commandment"... What an idiot! His favourite Bible verse is not in the Bible? And immediately after announcing that, he violates it by criticising a fellow Repube-lickin? Can these waterheads be more self-contradictory?
