Fly, winged monkeys, fly!!!

There's a post on realtor circle-jerk site Active Rain today about realtors on commission being superheroes.

'Nuff said.

Fly.

The comments, until they delete them, should be brutal. They need to know. They need to hear just how low their profession has sunk.

(man, I miss HP sometimes)

"What a bunch of bullshit. You idiots beleive yourselves? Every single one of you, mostly barely educated assholes, got into this business for a quick buck.

I will go back and thell them to go fuck themselevs later today Hey, it gets Keith off the hook for 24 hours.

Some crazy old bitch posted this:

Be sure not to delete comments until AR can get the IP info, off the Report a Concern. Especially important if the person using "David Learah's" name is a member, but even if he is not a member.

Some help over here Keith, I may have just started a war. This was your idea.

Wow, circle-jerk is right. What a revolting mess of "Thank you for pointing out how wonderful we are!" comments I had to wade through before I got to the end of the thread so I could heap some ritual abuse on them. Maybe I'm too jaded; in that I prefer to read negative stuff instead of vapid happy-talk. I won't ego-masturbate by reprinting the comment I left, but here's the one just ahead of mine, which will probably be bleeped, so enjoy it now.

Never met a superhero-agent but I did meet the agent who sold me my house. She was also the person sleeping the home inspector so about $43,000 worth of repairs and the nasty asbestos problem in the basement were 'over looked.' I read about superhero agents here so they must exist. Just like I know there's a unicorn that poops Skittles...I read about him, too.

Aw, looks like they're of course deleting all the negative comments. Wouldn't want to interrupt their "The Secret", "Prosperity Bible" realtor-on-commission circle jerk.

And they wonder why they're hated.

Still, that shouldn't dissuade anyone from posting. Just for kicks.

Remember when we took down firstrung.co.uk? And of course bloodhound? I can't remember 'em all but man, they're fun. Especially now that history has been so very unkind to them.

Angry Leprechaun said...

Bukko,

I wasn't ego masterbating, just wanted to remeber what I said since I knew they were going to delete it. And they did all three of my posts.

Angry Leprechaun said...

I don't see myself with that status too long Keith, but will hold the title honorably for the short while.

Went2puke said...

I did post a negative comment--but not that brutal--just to see how long it will last.
It's been now ten minutes and it's still there! But what a pathetic photo!
Somehow I feel sorry for those very few honest realtors and brokers.

Before it was deleted:

Who's lost more jobs- buggy whip salesmen, typewriter repairmen or realtors?

Who's caused more damage to the American economy - realtors or republicans?

Who is hated more by Americans - realtors or osama bin laden?

I don't think this one will last, but who knows, realtors are pretty dumb.

________

Without REALTORS where would this country be? We're the backbone of the country! We provide a service, and jobs, and we do it ethically and proudly in all cases! When prices were obviously too high, we told our clients DON'T BUY! Our organization, the NAR, bravely came out with a report in 2006, the "There's a Massive Bubble So Don't Buy" report, that saved millions from making a horrible mistake!

REALTORS were on the front lines, trying to prevent the economic meltdown that destroyed America. Our members are truth-tellers, uninterested in enriching themselves, and most interested in the welfare of their clients!

The Bible teaches that REALTORS deserve all the commissions that they are due. And The Secret shows us all the way to wealth.

Rise up REALTORS! Let's show the world how ethical and necessary we are!

My research put a lot of unfortunate schlubs with into severely overpriced debt traps and for that I'm truly sorry. Especially for that one chubby guy me and his domineering wife tag teamed into submission at the top of the market. How was I to know house prices wouldn't rise exponentially forever? She called me the other day to tell me they're getting divorced because he lost his job and "his sorry a-- cant pay the mortgage anymore" and that she was interested to see if i could help with their little predicament. Of course I told her about short sales and that I'd get right on it.It's a terrible situation where there is no real winners. I'm just glad I could be of service.

"No guaranteed pay check."

What a joke. During the run up of the housing bubble this was the easiest money anyone could make.

As a result all kinds of losers rushed in with grasping hands. 1 in 50 people in CA were licensed, it was obscene.

Salesmen on commission with a built in conflict of interest superheroes?

LMAO.

Did you know that someone had the gall to impersonate Lawrence Yun?!? /snark/ Fortunately, the realtorblogmaggot bleeped that!

Irja, I have deleted the three comments but not before reporting it to Active Rain. The commenter did not have the courage to post his own name, rather he used the name of the former Chief Economist of NAR. I don't mind someone disagreeing, but personal attacks are no way to advance an idea.

God I miss HP also - just got home and found a flyer from two Zombie Realtors (tm) "Gregg and Debbie" (why are they always tag teams like wrestlers?). . .they are "short-sale" experts. . .right - a few years ago, they were telling the same customers how much money they would make and "real estate only goes up". . .now they are making their 6% by selling short (probably the same properties).

I had hoped these people would be flipping burgers by now, but I guess they are more persistant than the zombies in Night of the Living Dead!

I'm very disappointed in you all.

How much devious thought and planning does it take to rant and curse with an immediate goal of being deleted?

Put some THOUGHT into it, people!

You gotta butter 'em up for a sentence or two, and when you finally deliver the payload, don't be so obvious about it.

I'm gonna go with a classic: Bawl Balefully In Private©

If you shortened that up a bit and posed it as a "didn't we?", I bet it would fly for a while.

"The Secret" is to bury your head in the sand and deny the truth when the truth isn't what you want to be until it is what you want it to be.

Since REALTORS are not selling houses because they screwed lots of people these last few years they'll just have to keep suckling each others dicks online till the market turns around in a few years. They can't let the truth ruin their mental masturbation circle jerk.

Someday this market will turn around and when it does i will be all over buying property. It wont turn around until the numbers make sense and where i live it's not even close, though its 25% better than it was in 2006.

Keith, I think you need to bring back HP...and TURN UP THE VOLUME!

Or, there should be a "realtor a day" thread where we show their ugly mugs and a few of their priceless quotes of stupidity.

Oh...and get a load of that dude in comment #85 or so!

I don't get what a realtor does that couldn't be replaced by some $10/hour kid couldn't do. They've joined the internet age and if it wasn't for their MLS monopoly, they could be replaced almost entirely by the internet.

Gave Joe a call today to ask why he deleted the negative comments and left all of the positive ones. He stated that he did it because the comments were hateful, childish and bitter.

He mentioned somthing about some comment were racist. (I didn't tell him I was a black man). I opined that he should be "fair and balanced" and that his industry is corrupt, hides information from the public like actual inventory numbers, and cheerleading by saying thats it's always a good time to buy ect...

He contended that there were good and bad in his industry and every industry alike. Joe referenced Alan Greenspann and investment banks. I conceded that he had a valid piont!

He also stated that he was a Democrat and how not all Democrats are all bad.

He kept calling bitter but I just smiled.

Maybe Andrew Hac can give him a follow up call and let him hear a turtle snapping in the background.

Eventually, CraigsList will destroy the realtormaggot business the same way it did newspaper classified ad sections. And with better justification! I'd post an ominous comment about that impending doom if they hadn't closed the section.

Hi, this is me the person who posted the article that was positive about Realtors. This is a crazy place and I will visit often. Couple of corrections. First, I didn't say it was racist on the phone call. I am 62, grew up in Oklahoma, and heard way too many comments in my youth about all blacks are not as smart as whites. You know, racist remarks. Anytime I see someone who overgeneralizes and call all of anybody barely educated assholes, I know I am dealing with someone that reminds me of the old separate but equal BS from my youth. Here is the comic part though. On the one hand the Angry leprechaun calls us barely educated assholes. On the other hand we are the Dr Evils of the earth that are the cause of the mortage crisis. Can't be both. It reminds me of Fast Times at Ridgemont High when Spiccoli steals and wrecks the car of the high school football star and the stars brother is in the car saying over and over, He's going to shit, he going to kill us. Sean Penn says Dude what is it going to be, is he going to shit or is he going to kill us? The village idiots don't become the geniuses of the downfall. We have a lot of problems in real estate and everywhere. Lighten up on the asshole part, use sarcasm, irony, and paradox to make your point, but enough of the ad hominem attacks.I will give you this, you got passion.

Joe,

We have more than passion we have the internet!

If you like S&A you should check out www.housingpanic.com, the site that proceded this one. We had this whole thing figured out back in 2005. And with Keith's foresight and savvy, predicted this whole debacle and tried to warn the sheeple the world how this whole thing would play out. Some listened, most didn't.

Now we have you here...trying to defend one of the biggest financial crimes agains humanity inwhich you and yours(you were all complicit)have the power advise and warn but chose to look the other way, lie, cheerlead, an other egregious actions for 6%.

Now look were we are! Now we have you along with Hank Paulson calling yourselves heroes? I got an idea for you. Call one of your clients that you sold a house to in July of 2006 and ask him if he thinks you are his hero!!!

Keith,

Do we have any proof that this is Joe and not an impersonator himself? If it is him, and even if it isn't, then please allow the really fucking retarded post to stay up.

Joe,

First go back and watch an Austin Powers movie, Dr. Evil was a moron and was nothing without naive money hungry subordinates. So yes calling you a bunch of uneducated assholes and Dr. Evil makes perfect sense.

Second, you can tell me that you did not see some sort of problem back in say 2006. I had an idea that I formed on my own before finding Keith and Housing Panic, and I was not working in the industry. Finding Housing Panic made watching the debacle fun. Those around me that were educated could see that houses gaining value out of thin air at a rate of 10 to 20 thousand dollars did not make sense. Loans with adjustable interest rates were never a good idea, and we can prove that now.

Last I left a comment on your site referring to the NAR and all you "uneducated assholes" needing a statistics course to figure out some of their lies. I am waiting for an answer. There is more inventory in my area than there has been in years, but there is only a 30 day supply? Shadow inventories that have been proven to exist but the realtors in my area ignore those. "What shadow inventory, those houses aren't on the MLS!" Why is there never a bad time to buy according to the NAR Joe? You are no different than used car salesman; your product is just different.

What is even worse about you and your fellows Joe is your arrogance. No matter how much your BMW or your fake Rolex portrays wealth, it is not a direct measurement of intelligence. This, Joe, is why you and your colleges are uneducated assholes.

Please tell me you have something better for your defense than Jeff Spicoli.

Oh, I want my money you and your industry stole from me back Joe. I and everyone else in this country, which was not part of your 10 year debacle, are in debt for some time now to pay for this Joe, and you want to write the cute little feel good bullshit you wrote the other day?

If you want to write something to your little buddies that has some truth to it, then go read Housing Panic, because round one of this is not going to look anything like round two. Better get some various flavors of Top Ramen; I would want your future diet to get too boring.

Angry Leprechaun said...

One more thing Joe. In honor of Spicoli, since you brought him up I want to say one thing:

"YOU DICK!"

Anonymous said...

Joe,

Pretty simple. Realtors are sales people. I don't see car salesmen or the dweeb at Best Buy calling themselves heroes. You need to get over yourselves and take a lot less for your work. That seems to be taking care of itself. I believe in Caveat Emptor, so your ilk never took advantage of me or did special math to tell me how much I can afford. I look forward to your numbers (Realtwhores) dwindling more. Nothing but love for you man :-)
