ummm... having lived in LA during the LA riots... I don't think it would take much to set off the american populace. Americans as a whole haven't really lost anything yet. Wait till things get bad and then we'll see if Americans's are all that much better.
When people start to starve ,or they don't have any money ,they can get crazy and riot ,what do you have to lose at that point .
I think people get really pissed when they think the rich are taking the national treasures while they starve .

Americans are not demonstrating against their corrupt and increasingly rich elite because 99% of them are complete retards and beef. First of all US has the worst education system in the OECD except for Mexico. Because Americans have no common roots or any history at all they are the most individualistic cruel and ignorant people on earth. For the most of its short history America was inward looking thats why they can't understand the world. That explains why when American overweight tourists come in continental Europe everyone laughs at them. Most Americans don't even have a passport, can't locate USA in the globe and the only foreign country they can name is (a)Iraq. Americans cannot understand how people can fight for a common cause,care for each other,not allow people die because they can't pay their hospital bill, demand a well funded public educational system, support the needy, and redistribute wealth in order to have a functional and fair society with low income and opportunity inewuality. Americans have been dumbed down by the rich elite and all they really care is to eat buy an SUV live in the suburbs and watch trush on MTV about rich and famous assholes and how wonderful ther life is(in contrast with theirs). The funniest part of TV here in Europe is when shows visit Alabama and the American south where they show the average American couple their retard fat kids or when they visit evangelical churches and make fun of crazy uneducated fearful people and those who exploit them.
