A politically incorrect pamphlet hitting on all the unspeakable stuff: Politics. Economics. Fiscal Policy. Foreign Policy. Moral Issues. Culture. Investments. Religion. Humor. Life.
Buh buh buh... He saved us from the terrorists, Keith!!! You dumb Liberals just don't understand that we need to KILL ALL of the islamo-fascist-jihadists. You don't understand that the only language these crazy Islamic nazis understand is a bomb landing in their family living room!!
You can't just blame Bush for the loss of American greatness on the world stage but he certainly embodies the notion that America has lost its way to the point of destroying itself better than anybody else.
Goodby A-hole. Don't let the door bang you on the ass on the way out.
Back to Texas with you where you can do no more harm.
A relative (army) came back from Iraq over the Christmas holidays and then went back after the 1st. He's been there four years. He could have stayed stateside, but volunteered to go back. Just like that commentator said, he affirmed that the rank and file "street Arab" is much more aligned with what we consider the "fanatic fringe" than the average American, or our idiotic, should-be-better-informed leaders, realize.
He said that the only thing holding the average Arab country together is hatred of Israel and the West. Take that away, and their individual countries would disintegrate overnight in a sect vs. sect bloodbath.
If there were no state of Israel, the Arab royal families would have to invent one to save their necks, because the people would wake up and realize who their real oppressors are.
When I was in Nam, the reasoning was that because so many had already died, it would be dishonorable to their memory to pull out now, among the other bull $h*t lies the government used to continue that fiasco. I'm sure that if it were possible to contact them from beyond the grave, those slain American kids in Iraq/et all would say: "Screw honor, get the rest of our buddies that are still alive outta this sand hell and back home."
I know I would.
And we (America)voted for this moron, twice? (I didn't) What does that make us?
Well said, Chris. And I loved the Shakespeare reference. Wow, you be edumacated! No, really, Chris is great. And George Bush, oh how can we count the ways that we will miss you? Your twinkling eyes, your defiant smirk, your bad English (he actually said the press "misunderestimated" him - so cute!) And then there is our beloved Dick...Cheney.... Dick...Cheney..... Dick.... What's left to say but Buh Bye!!!
You all might cut the guy some slack and drop the hate for five minutes. Bush had the toughest job in the world for eight years. Did he screw up? Yes, including a few whoppers. Did he take over the country and impose martial law like the loonies predicted? No he didn't do any of that. Now that he's leaving DC with dignity (compared him to Clinton's final days), how about we all just stop the petty bullshit and leave the man alone.
He stumbled as he walked up to the podium, and his facial expressions weren't matching what he was saying. He was sort of robotic with maybe a short circuit.
Thank god he is gone.Off to texas to run a chainsaw clearing brush which he should have been doing all along. All that oil money got him and his daddy in office.
I don't think the majority of Americans really understand the gravity of the situation, nor how financially screwed this nationa really is. The state of California, world's 8th largest economy is like Latvia to the 1000th power. Californians are facing financial oblivion in a matter of weeks!!
It's entirely possible that the US could get sucked into a long, drawn out depression (not just a recession).
Well, he doesn't quite have the midas-touch, does he? I guess if he moves to Dallas, thats "it" for Dallas.
I know a few people whom just can't do anything right, ever, Bush isn't the only one by far. Lets "hope", as we get to know the new guy, that he's not as much a duffus as Mr. Bush.
Good luck Obama, sure would like to see our glorious country returned to it's pristine state of perfection!

In eight years we will hear from Matthews that the bailouts were a bad idea and didn't work.

Please. Olberman or however you spell that has no credibility. Any story line he's involved in is instantly null and void.

good bye and good riddance asshole!
Arrest, try, convict and sentence.
Capital punishment seems just for murder x 4,000+.
Bushco, WORST EVER BORN.
Farewell, Dog.

I think he was flying high.
Complete. Psychopath: nonchalant and smugly defiant, he cheerily asserts his (fictitious) narrative.
Thank goodness he went out with a smirk.
After all, the huge joke is really not on us, it is us.

The only facists that I have seen are not islamic.

Can't wait. Got popcorn, cold beer.
"We see examples of America's character all around us."
I agree with JaneZ. I think Bush was drunk again. He had that same look on his face when he ordered troops into Iraq.
