So, will you be spending your Saturday at Wal-Mart? Well, some people won't be. "Maybe I will be one of the people who is going to get killed."

"I will participate in the demonstrations tomorrow. Maybe they will turn violent. Maybe I will be one of the people who is going to get killed. I'm listening to all my favorite music. I even want to dance to a few songs. I always wanted to have very narrow eyebrows. Yes, maybe I will go to the salon before I go tomorrow! There are a few great movie scenes that I also have to see. I should drop by the library, too. It's worth to read the poems of Forough and Shamloo again. All family pictures have to be reviewed, too. I have to call my friends as well to say goodbye. All I have are two bookshelves which I told my family who should receive them.

I'm two units away from getting my bachelors degree but who cares about that. My mind is very chaotic. I wrote these random sentences for the next generation so they know we were not just emotional and under peer pressure. So they know that we did everything we could to create a better future for them. So they know that our ancestors surrendered to Arabs and Mongols but did not surrender to despotism. This note is dedicated to tomorrow's children..."

Ayatollah Khamenei Digs Himself a Bigger Hole

At his speech at Friday prayer’s this morning, Ayatollah Khamenei made it clear that he needs to hire a new political strategist. He defended the vote as fair, saying fraud was impossible, and anatognized the Iranian people by saying they were being manipulated by foreign plotters, trying to make it seem as though the CIA or Mossad was engineering all of this. He said that his views were closer to Ahmadinejad than Rafsanjani, now equating him with Iran’s most hated man. And he threatened them, warning them against trying to create chaos and that they’d be held responsible. He’s clearly preparing for a major, violent crackdown–and when he does—the regime will face a far more determined and fierce foe due to his speech.

Some more news from supporters of PMOI in Iran:

* At least 43 people have been killed by the regime. 30 in Tehran, and the rest in Shiraz, Kermanshah, Isfahan, Yazd, Khoramabad, Mashhad, and elsewhere.
* There are stories that the families of those killed in Tehran (or perhaps just imprisoned) by the regime are going to police stations asking where their loved ones are, not knowing their status. Law enforcement is resistant, refusing to give any information for sometimes hours at a time. The families have reported eventually being told that their relatives are dead, and the government will only hand them the body once the bullets used to kill them are paid for by the family.
* According to the information I received, Iranian intelligence has set up fake websites like www.mirhoseyn.ir and www.mirhoseyn.com where viewers are asked to put in their contact information.
* Approximately 300 people in Isfahan have been arrested and brought to secret detention centers at police stations, safehouses and Central Isfahan Prison where they are tortured.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei raises stakes as Iran braces for violence

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/middle_east/article6539412.ece

Iran’s Supreme Leader dramatically raised the stakes in his country’s political crisis today by demanding an end to the massive street demonstrations and warning of a violent crackdown if they continued. He also accused "treacherous" Britain of leading a western conspiracy to destablise the Islamic Republic by fomenting the protests.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s uncompromising speech raised fears that he could unleash his formidable security forces on a mass protests as early as tomorrow, when tens of thousands of opposition supporters are expected to defy him by joining a Tehran rally organised by reformist clerics.

His words caused widespread alarm. European leaders meeting in Brussels demanded the regime “refrain from the use of force against peaceful demonstrations”. Nicolas Sarkozy, the French president, urged Iran not to go “beyond the point of no return”. Navi Pillay, the UN human rights chief, feared the “illegal use of excessive force”.

Addressing Friday prayers at Tehran University, the bearded septuagenarian offered no concessions to the millions of irate Iranians who have taken to the streets this week. Instead he issued an unmistakable warning to Mir Hossein Mousavi and Mehdi Karroubi, the defeated candidates.

“Those politicans who have influence on people should be very careful about their behaviour if they act in an extremist manner,” he said. “This extremism will reach a level which they will not be able to contain. They will be responsible for the blood, violence and chaos."

“The Supreme Leader has drawn a line in the sand, and he has the muscle to back it up,” one Iranian analyst said. “His speech was a polite way of saying ‘Hey - there’s a coup and we’re in charge.' It was an absolute declaration of power.”

Great. Rather than being TOLD who is going to Nuke the West. They'd rather ELECT the individual who is going to Nuke the West.

Just because a nation becomes more democratic does not mean it is your friend. Take the Palestinians for example. They freely elected HAMAS!

The enemy of your enemy is not necessarily your friend.

Yes, lets glorify dying in order to protest the election of one despotic ruler over another despotic ruler. Anyone who dies over that is a fool.

Anyone can be gotten to. Anyone... You just have to want it and be willing to do it at all costs / at any cost.

But, rather then looking for a checkmate these retards are looking to win by sheer numbers. Sheep are sheep, regardless of their numbers. Killing a thousand is like killing one. They even make it easy by gathering in groups for the machine guns. Might as well just line-up to make it easy for the butchers.

My predictions. They'll assemble in great numbers. Thousands will be killed and most will run away. The world will be "shocked" the incident will be "condemed" and that will be the end of that.

History repeats itself, unless good men do something about it. The only leasons learned from the same sort of incident that happened in China a decade ago was that the regimn can do whatever it wants and nothing can be done about it.

You don't need an army of sheep, just one wolf.

Just as you are what you eat, you live in what you make. They have no one to blame, but themselves. Just like we have no one to blame for where we're headed, but ourselves.

May God help the cowards and the stupid people, because they'll never help themselves.

yes, it is a bit confusing how upset they are getting that the dick head hand picked candidate they voted for didn't beat the other dick head selected candidate.

I hope the people of Iran rise up against tyranny. I hope they rise up and succeed and take out these despots. Then give them a fair trial and send them to prison.

All of you folks cheering for the over throw of the current Iranian regime are foolish. Don't forget, most Middle Easterners HATE AMERICA AND HATE AMERICAN IDEALS.

The only pro-western and pro-democratic country in the Middle East is Israel. Let's face the cold hard politically incorrect truth; democracy is not in the blood of Muslims.

This melodrama is insincere, since only weeks ago the United States was planning on bombing and invading the country. How do you manage the mood swings, Keith? Lithium?

Supreme leader reminded everyone that Mousavi and Karroubi were both members of the same ruling elite. This whole bit of drama seems hollow to me - what the hell are these protesters trying to achieve? Their guys were in the same club as Khamenei and A-jad, Do they actually think either will change Iran significantly or for the better?

Some dipshits in the MSM here in the U.S. are actually comparing the situation in Iran to what happened in Florida in 2000. As if.

What's the difference between a clampdown on street demonstrations and being jailed for fifteen years for saying you don't believe in the Holocaust (Horst Mahler)? Or being thrown in the can for "hate" speech (Hate Speech Laws)? Or being imprisoned for certain political content on a website (the Heretical Two)?

Can one of these people who are upset about the results of the election in Iran enlighten me?

Yes, but that would require Americans to understand what the nature of the problem is.

The thing is many Americans think that it is the Ayatollah Khamanei in Iran and other similar people that are holding them back.

Good heavens; how unfair considering their track records.

By way of deception, the rubes shall be credulous.

They always love a good puppet show.

Thank goodness the world's oppressed know we stand behind them.

Sometimes, anyway..
